    Vegas Buffets opening back up?

Starting May 1, looks like Vargas will allow 80% capacity. Does this mean the buffets, too?
Well, before you rush back to the buffet table for your 4th helping of fried chicken, you might want to read this:

Random, I read that article in the past, yes people are disgusting. Went to a buffet casino years ago, a kid maybe 10 years old dropped the large serving spoon on the floor, picked it up and placed it back on the counter. I picked it up and gave it to one of the employees and let them know it was dropped on the floor.

Hope the buffets open up as cafeteria style, you let the server know what you want they place it on your plate. What I love about buffets is not waiting for a table, drinks, someone to take our order, wait for a server to bring food to the table. Love the freedom of choosing a little of the foods I love and not waiting and waiting...

There was an article about the purpose of buffets in casino was to feed a large number of customers in a limited amount of time with a relatively small staff...imagine a restaurant trying to serve hundreds on a holiday or busy weekend.
We should see in the coming weeks if the Las Vegas buffets return in some form.

Back in March 2021, I actually had breakfast in the South Point (Vegas) buffet. They had servers at each station. It worked fine, but we were there very early in the morning, so it was not very busy yet. Iím not sure what the experience would be like when it is busier.

Love buffets. Hard Rock has servers come to your table and take your order for their buffet. You can eat all you want. You raise a flag when you want more food or drink. It works out perfect. I asked one of the servers if they would go back to a regular style buffet and she was not sure.
    Good luck everyone.

Enjoyed the South Point buffet in early May. For the price is was good and food selection was great. The staff served fairly quickly.

I wish the buffets would open back up. I miss them.
I like how Hard Rock is doing their buffets. They bring the food to you.
    Good luck everyone.
