A quest to make Platinum in a DAY

Going to bed. I am about to go on a short Vegas trip. Leave Tuesday morning and come home Thursday night.

I am staying the Cosmo for 2 comped nights. I love this hotel.

I plan to make it platinum in a day at Planet Hollywood.

Only going to focus on my gambling in one day at Planet Hollywood. I have $3k for that one day.. I was going to bring 2k but I wanted to add more.. Wish me luck. I will try to post updates here.

There actually is no longer platinum in a day or diamond in a day with CET but only because of the new tier bonuses they are obsolete.
you need 5000 tier points in a year for platinum, but with the new tier bonuses if you get 2500 in one day you get a 5000 point bonus, so that would get 7500 points for the day, more than enough.
i can usually get 500 points in a day on a bankroll of $500 unless things go really bad, and often less cash if I'm lucky.
if you are doing well go for diamond, 5000 points in a day get you an extra 10,000 so you'll be at the 15,000 needed.
    good luck!

Thanks.. Yes I meant platinum in a day with the new bonus system.. What machines were you playing? I was an mlife player but comps dried up so I'm trying to.. Never played at any of their casinos, heard planet Hollywood was good for reels.

You definitely want to be sure you're funded enough to reach the finish line without necessarily relying on too much luck. You probably are but I'd want to be sure to have reinforcements ready if needed. I think everyone has fantasies about trying these things getting a dream win, so hope for you it does.

IT'S ALWAYS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DOUBLE CHECK WHEN THE GAMING DAY ACTUALLY BEGINS AT THE CASINO YOU PLAY AND NEVER ASSUME YOU KNOW. It can bite you if you're wrong or it changes.

I play a mix of dollar reels, penny slots and quarter or 50 cent video poker. Usually bet on average $1 to $2 rarely more.
decent selection of reels there but actually haven't had a lot of luck on them there, have had better luck on penny games or nickels though the opposite is usually the case.
the video poker is where I rack up a lot of points though.

I think PH is the right choice for CET Strip. Had a number of members doing better than expected recently at PH.

Like ONM said, check with the TR desk before you start to make sure you know the policy.

    Good luck!
