My NGA convention trip 2-9 thru 2-13 TR

    Greetings to all

Headed off to my convention, leaving freezing weather back home, and had a one hour delay for
de-icing. Landed in Vegas around 11:30 and met up with my Limo driver who brought all 5 of us to the Mirage. Checked in the room, and got our badges, and we were off to a workshop.
Decided to leave early and walked over to Spago inside the Forum Shoppes, and everyone loved it.
Never had anything there that wasn't top notch.
Back to the Mirage to gamble, and it got ugly the first day, and lasted till I left.
I trusted my Bier Haus to provide some action, but it did not, as I pumped a ton of coin into it, without any
major wins. Ate at Javier inside Aria that night, and I loved it. My friends loved the Casino, so we gambled their for a while before heading to PH for some card playing. No luck, and finished the night at MGM, again with no luck. Monday was a lot of workshops, and 5 hours on the expo floor negotiating with many media, and mobile app. companies, which I learned quite a bit, which is good.
For dinner we grabbed a limo to the Golden Steer, and enjoyed the oldest steakhouse in Vegas. Good food, good stories from the owner, and afterwards took the biggest limo I ever sat in over to the Hard Rock to try my luck there. This limo was so big it had a stripper pole in the middle, and easily could have fit 30 people in it. Called it a night after losing more money.
On Tuesday we went to early workshops, before heading to to Paris, for an outdoor lunch at Mon Ami Gabi, that everyone loved. I had the mushroom truffle soup, and could have downed a gallon of it.
Later that evening the Gala Event was held with Thompson Square performing afterwards. Really good group, and than we went back to Aria to finish off the night, and yes I lost again.
Wednesday slept in till noon, and took my cousin to the Wicked Spoon for lunch w/ BOGO coupon from United
Airlines. Hell of a meal for only $13 piece, and walked the strip gambling a little each place.
Grabbed a gift card at Macy's for my host, and walked over to the Pallazzo to try my luck there(NOT).
Ate dinner at Stack, which was great, and gambled some more playing Let it Ride till midnight.
I was determined to bring back some BR, so the last day I was careful.
Thursday morning up early, and headed back home with about $800 still in my pocket.
Second trip in a row, where my luck was bad, hitting a $750 bonus on Bonus as my best jackpot, but I need to move around more, as the machines that paid me last year, are not paying this year.
Either way I had a blast with my friends, and will return in October for the golfing event.

Perfect weather everyday, great food, and friends, but no luck at the slots. Oh well!!!

good tr, i have learned this trip that just cause a machine was good in the past not matter if more then once it isnt worth the hunt to keep lighting money on fire at em... and to try others out.

sounds like you got some excellent dining in as well as good playing all over this trip!
