Im in the slot tourny as well and my host booked me into the deluxe king. Good enough for me but a suite would be nice. Going to ask when i get there. What room is one up from the deluxe king? Corner suite?

The corner suites at Aria are awesome...long walk to the elevators..but the are very quiet and luxurious!!

I hate how they claim city view or strip view is upgrade. That doesnt matter to me if the room type is the same lol. Aria has a ton of room styles it seems according to website.

Yeah i think i stayed in one of them back in 2009 a long time ago. Wasnt into slotting or vegas as much as i am now. Otherwise i would remember had it been recently. But yeah deffinately do remember the damn long walk.

I agree but it's nice waking up to a nice view while enjoying a cup of coffee.

Wow that seems to be a good prize structure to me. Is there any way of finding details of tournaments for the forthcoming month/s? If there's one for when I am there I think I may have to increase my BR ;)

$500 buy in for the tourney the host said around 180 entries

they usually dont notify of the tourneys will prob be march or april before a may one is announced and have to be invited to the tourneys by the casino so maybe contact a host and see what they can do

Bit the bullet and talked to my host today about upgrading to a corner suite for the tourny. We will be there for 5 nights total so had to pay for two nights to begin with. It was 300 with the resort fee for the first two nights staying in the king deluxe. For an extra 200$ we were able to get bumped up to the corner suite for 5 nights! Thats a good deal in my eyes. Those rooms are 750 a night on weekends. Just need to win the slot touney now.

good luck, also nice about upgrading to the corner suite should be nice except for the long walks to the room. did you get invite to their march madness slot tourney? it worked out great for when i am there in march but payout for the lowest spots not as good as we are getting.

I am trying to figure out where i want to eat on valentines night right now on their website.

I booked Sage for Valantines i think. Might have been American fish. I dont really get invites. I dont want any of the mailings to tempt me so i dont get them sent. If i want to go i just call my host and see whats available. March i am busy all month anyway, last month of ice fishing!
