I saw it at Pechanga the last time we were there. I was waiting for DH by the door and this machine was paying off like crazy. There was a lady and her husband sitting together and for sure she was going to get a handpay. Seems like she was betting 2-3 dollars? She was well over 900.00 when I first saw her and it had retriggered in the bonus round. It's really big in size.

The only time I played near him was at the G2E when we were both there (with you) a few years ago. I think he played Pinball and seemed to be doing very well since I did remember hearing your comment back then how lucky he is when you are playing near him. Hopefully his lucky finger carries over to our high limit pull. I already told him to get a manicure and hand massage before the big event!

No update on this. My rep still says it's simply gravity for the actual ball dropping. (of course, the spinning of the wheel that has the "holes" where the ball drops in could have weighted programming based on wagers, etc...)

Now I am even more curious then before. Funny what ends up a curiosity with no logical answer. I just cannot imagine Nevada regulators allowing a mechanical bonus round were the outcome is determined by "gravity." Just so much can go wrong (i.e. bumping the unit, a large cart rolling by creating any type of vibration, a small earthquake, etc.)... One day we will really know!

There could be some hang-ups with certain jurisdictions based upon how the rules are worded... There are already games in the field with gravity based bonuses, like AGS Boogie Ball and the later variants. A ball drops down plinko style. http://www.americangamingsystems.com...ed-gaming.html

I'm on the camp of it being gravity fed after playing it. That ball bounces around way too much for it to be predetermined. But my one curiosity is what happens if there is a power surge? It must have a battery back-up.
