New one called Better Off Ed

I just wanted to say I played this new game called Better Off Ed. It is a game based on dead versus alive subject matter. Think of the cemetery themed game a few years back where the bodies come back from the grave.
This is a 30 line penny machine with a $3 max bet. I was playing $1.50 a spin & triggered the bonus rather quickly.
The type of bonus I triggered had sticky wilds. I think it gave me 12 spins & by the end of the bonus I had 9 sticky wilds. It paid numerous 5 of a kind combinations for a total bonus of $120.00

Not only did it pay well it was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this game. It seems these type of "Scary Games" always seem to launch shortly before Halloween.

Has anyone else seen/played this game ?

It's a new Bally game for their V32 cabinet. My rep just told me today that it is doing very well. http://ballytech.com/games/internati...f-ed-3081.html

I played at Harrah's in Atlantic City. It is fun and also has a progressive that can be won on any bet level.

SE has this cabinet for The Green Machine, and those are the 'touchyest' buttons I've ever seen. Barely, and I do mean barely touch 'em and there's your play or whatever. Even asks you if you want to cash out, cause you maybe just brushed that button.

Played this one today since the Bones was at $550. Since it starts at $30 I thought it was likely way overdue for a payout. I found out why it's so hard to hit.

So first you need to initiate one of the special bonus rounds. Not the free spin ones, the other one where you have 3 picks at headstones. On the headstones are 1 of 3 things. Credits (most common), an extra pick (1 of them out of the 10 headstones), and the jackpot wheel (1 out of 10 headstones).

THEN if you get the jackpot wheel it spins and you get either:

    1 of the 3 jackpots
    5 spots of credits

So add up the odds. First the chance of hitting the special bonus round (hit it once in 200+ spins). Then 3 in 10 chance of picking the wheel. Then 3 in 8 chance of getting a jackpot. (assuming it's not skewed to hold until a certain payout threshold)

Variance is pretty high. Even with the amount of wilds they throw at you it was pretty much a straight trip down to zero and then I got super lucky on my final $3 and made my money back.

In SoCal, Barona's max bet is $3 compared to Pala's $1.50.

I do feel thst the slots are looser at Barona. But, that is my opinion. So, please do your own due diligence.

I like Bally games, but not this one... I think the payouts are low...
I'm usually better off walking by Ed...

I tried it. Got Pick'em bonus twice. Never got free spin bonus. Found the game to be "OK", but not interesting enough to try again.

Very first time I played this I won about $500. Second time.... $1,145.00. All times after that.... NADA. Now it almost never pays anything... so I stopped playing it.
