    for the table game players

What are your likes and dislikes at playing the tables? My complaints are slow pit bosses checking me in and casinos feeding drunks more booze, when they obviously cant make good financial decisions and dealers bringing their personal lives and attitudes to work. However I do enjoy the hands on playing, conversing with people from all different backgrounds, and the table payouts are always better than the slots.

Given that it's harder to earn player points/comps at table games, one of my pet peeves is not being rated correctly, or being rated well below what I've been playing...

And I'm a personal space person (especially if you're drunk etc., and I don't know you) I hate table games that have no room.

Im with you there Pookkyy. Most casinos dont rate players unless they are playing at least $25 a hand. I always try to start my play with all green chips until the pit boss puts it in that Im playing high. Then I will change it out or not according to how the cards are doing.

Deb1486, Im laughing because I do that to my wife all the time ( but not other players). I don't let anyone influence me on how to play my cards.

For my dislikes, I'm with Deb. I absolutely cannot stand players who tell other players how to play or blame other players for their own losses. People who play the blame game simply do not understand cards.

For likes, I love the interactions...with the other players but especially with the dealers. I love being able to go to my local, sit down at a table, and pick up a conversation with a dealer where we left off the last time I played with them. I also really enjoy playing blackjack with players who don't know what they're doing because those are the ones who seem to be in it for fun and enjoy themselves.

I like to play Spanish 21 and it is fun to watch Blackjack players come over and try the game and not know the rules.
I like my space so try to sit on 1st or 3rd base and never in the middle. Rating is a whole different math and it use to be easy to rack up points but last year I did notice a big difference on my tier points. I use to sit and play for 6 hours on a SP21 table at the old Trump, know the dealers and pitbosses. My seat and chips were held when I needed a break. The chatter was fun among the dealers and seeing the same players each month. Now I see some of the dealers and it is hard to get a seat at the table.

Started to play 3rd card poker and had a few good trip hands on the last visits. But I don't stay long as the tide turns quickly on the game. So now my casino trips are mixed with table games, slots and VP.

SP21 is one of my backup games (besides craps & baccarat) when the slots aren't nice.
I find it irritating when a BJ player is bemoaning me to not hit certain cards in SP21...

Unlike the slots, the tables seem to draw a clientele of angry know-it-alls, who make it unpleasant for the rest of the players. I love going one on one against the dealer, I can play anyway I want to.

I am with GoldenGreeke......I seek out empty tables with no mid shoe entry.....I play hard and fast....often I might get up and not even finished the shoe. I am really starting to get back into BJ. In the past that is all I played and usually was a winner about 50% of the time (nice wins like 2k+)...but then I got hooked on slots and I notice I hardly ever win at the casinos anymore. I was tired of losing (because of slots) and now I am playing much more BJ and already in a short period I have had two $2k+ winning trips.

When I play BJ I like to let hands ride (stack) for 2 to 3 hands in a row. I often bet between $50 to $100 hand. So if you bet $50 and let it ride 3 times in a row, you win $400 ($350 profit).
