Do you guys think that it is possible that Cabrera will win the triple crown and not be the MVP ?

Seems a lot of people like Trout for the MVP.

I think if Miguel wins triple crown he is MVP his team is in the playoffs and Trouts is not.

I am not being a homer here--but triple crown should mean MVP. Trout has had an incredible year but if the Tigers didn't have Cabrera in the line-up--they would not be in playoffs.

Last year, Verlander won the CY Young & MVP.

It will be Tigers vs As and Yankees vs Orioles/Rangers winner. National league is Reds vs Giants and Nationals vs Braves/Cardinals winner.

I agree Misty. They said on the Yanks game tonight that Ted Williams won the Triple Crown twice and didn't win MVP either year.

I, too, think Miggy should get the MVP. Trout had a great year and I can't take anything away from him, but Miggy contributed so much to this team. I'm hoping he gets it.

It was kind of scary watching former Tiger Curtis Granderson jack a couple of home runs to get within 1 on Miggy's total, but a total class act by the Yankees to pinch hit for him in the 7th, during a rout of the Sox. So proud of Miguel Cabrera and the Deetroit Tigers
