Any Baseball fans out there-Triple Crown Possible Winner

Has anybody out there been watching baseball lately? There are so many interesting races going on and the middle of all this is a possible triple crown winner for the first time since 1967. Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers is currently leading the American League in batting average, homeruns, and RBI (runs batted in). Tonight will be the night--the last night of the regular season and he may be crowned!! Just curious if anyone has been watching?

I've got one eye on it...saw this last night on ESPN...good for him, he's a BEAST! This is a tough task to accomplish

Nyphinix--he is a beast!! I really am a fan of the Tigers and he is incredible to watch play! He has had his off field issues but really has turned into a complete player--I have my fingers crossed

I hope Cabrera gets the triple crown. I will be cheering for the Braves and Orioles in the playoffs.

Dougray--I hope Cabrera does win it too!! The Orioles have been an amazing story this year--I will cheer for them-- only if the Tigers are out of the play-offs!!

I understand MistyLee, you gotta cheer for your team. I have nothing against the Tigers, but I'm a life long Braves fan and the O's are my favorite AL team. With Verlander, Fister and Cabrera, the Tigers could be a dangerous team in the playoffs. It should be exciting!

Nyphinix--I agree I never want the Yankees to win--I hope the Tigers meet the Yankees in the play-offs. We usually own them!!

Dougray--the Tigers do have some great players--I just hope that a couple of my booked casino trips in October don't fall on the same nights!!! Slot machines always win out instead of watching the games

Oakland just beat Texas to win the AL West. That means Texas is the wild card and will probably play Baltimore. Still not sure about all the tiebreakers.

Yeah Oakland!! Josh Hamilton did not have a homerun so if Cabrera doesn't play in tonight's game he already has the triple crown--but I watching local tv and he wants to play but Jim Leyland was grinning during an interview & said whether he is in the line-up was subject to change
