Any 3 Card Poker fans out there?

Big thanks to Jason for getting me hooked on table games. Makes for a nice break from getting destroyed at the slots. I downloaded an app on my phone to practice up on 3 card poker and other games. I'm confused on a certain payout.

On this app, dealer qualifies with a jack or higher. I place my ante and am dealt, AKJ off suit. I make a place bet. To my understanding, if dealer doesn't qualify, I am payed even on my ante and a push on my place bet. If dealer qualifies, but my hand is better, I get paid even money on ante AND place bet.

My question is, why did I not win even money on this hand for both the ante and the place?

I don't get this one at all. Maybe it's a glitch. Also, I find it funny Jack or higher qualifies. Even with that i'd still play the same.

Personally I love 3CP! Except for my last trip to Revel, where 3CP murdered me, I have had tremendous luck with it (and VP, by the way), saving me from a not so great year at Blackjack and slots.

your welcome for getting you into cards!.

it looks like you won $20. but im sure what it took off was that you didn't get a pairs plus with your $5 bet. so you did win $20 but lost the $5 pairs plus bet so its a net win of $15. doesn't look like a glitch, just they compiled all of it into a net/net win

I like to play 3CP at CET because they have the 6 card bonus side bet... I like to play 3CPat Revel because it's smoke free (for now...)

I think you're right. Looking at it again it seems that's exactly what they did.

The funny thing about the 6 Card bet is some dealers preach the benefits of that side bet more than some Blackjack players preach about Lucky Ladies. I really like it, because it can turn a losing hand into a winning one, but I only occasionally bet it. I've very rarely regretted not making it, like, to the tune of twice I wish I made it (one was a 10, 2 FH, the other was a 5-9 straight). When it comes to just that bet, I can safely say I'm on the plus side, haha.

Maybe I'm confused as I'm pretty new to it. I never made a pairs plus bet. I bet my ante of 5$. I had a hand worth playing so I bet 5$ on place bet. Since dealer had a jack, he played the hand but I beat his hand so I thought I would get paid even for both the ante and place bets.

Like in this example. Dealer did not qualify for hand so I got paid 1-1 ante and pushed on place bet. Just trying to figure out if I'm wrong or the game has a glitch and I should find another.

So, in both pic examples. I won $15. First pic, dealer qualified. Second pic, he didn't, yet I won the same amount.
