    Taking a break.

Yuck. Four loosing trips in a row. $600, $1,500, $800 and $900 This is not my year so far. I'll be taking a good two months off, maybe save up for Vegas or just treat myself to new things. One can only loose so much so often before its not even fun. How can slots suck up so much so quickly is beyond me. I spend a little more then I should sometimes. So cutting out the casino should do me good. A nice lonnnng break.

Any one else just loosing horribly this year?

been hit and miss for me this year, but I can tell you that I am really thinking about giving up the slots. Its just no fun when they give you zero play. Heck a $100 on a $2 bet can be gone in less than 15 mins. That is just wrong!

Maylene I feel your pain. So far 2013 has been a complete mess for me. You are not alone.

I have taken some beatings in 2013 too, you are not alone. I have tried spending some of my money on non gambling things before my next trip. I don't think taking a break would be a bad idea.

Sorry for your loses. I am also taking a two month break from slots, haven't won since last September, which makes 19 losing trips in a row.

I haven't been for some time due to my losses...am now saving for a trip to Vegas at the end of the year and paying off surgery I had in early March.

It ceases to be entertainment when I feel that all I do when I go is give them my hard earned cash...

Agree with everything said above. Currently at Borgata and have had my worst trip to date, simply because I am losing very quickly and getting no play for my money. I find myself getting very frustrated and getting slightly angry when those around me seem to be doing much much better than me. It's not good.

I have a trip planned to Vegas in April. Am seriously considering eating the cost of the flights and not going. One of the counter-arguments I have is that there's a lot more to do in Vegas than in AC (esp on the marina side). So if I do have a bad streak, I can spend hours at the pool or walking the strip or hiking somewhere. I just have to make sure my money management skills and my ability to walk away (instead of playing through b/c a bonus/good hit *has* to be coming) is stronger than it's been this trip.

Sorry for being a little wordy but Maylene, you're not alone!

We've cut back on the trips also. At some point you'd think the casinos would start to feel the pain. I will say I've spent on some other toys though.

When the slots kick your butt every time.there's nothing else to do but take a break. That's what we are doing too.

Sometimes taking a break, or changing it up is the way to go. I've been taking a terrible beating from my locals (2 hours away) for the past year, so I am taking a complete break from them. That cuts out 2 - 3 trips a month. My next local trip is in June and that is only because a very special SF friend will be there. I will also cut my play back while I am there because no matter what I give them, my offers stay the same. Which means they are insulting.

That said, I will be doing more traveling casino trips this year. I am hitting up Vegas & some of the other M&G's because of what I am not giving my Locals. I seem to get much more play for my $$ in Vegas, and much greater return in the area of comps. So, losses become less painful, and my last 3 trips out there have come in under budget. The upcoming M&G trips will be awesome, win or lose!
