Does anyone understand this company ...?

    Hi Folks:

Aruze came on the scene several years ago. Came out with some very high volatility stack wild games ... then another wave of games ... including a somewhat successful Paradise Fishing game. A year or so later, they released a number of super-bright reel games. At first, very popular, then popularity tanking after a few months (at least, this was what I witnessed at Seneca Niagara).

There was the Queen slot ... that I never had a chance to play.

Anyone know what Aruze has planned for the G2E? This company has some nice graphics and animation ... but the business execution, has not been as good.

Your thoughts for the future of this company?

I have no idea. At first I was totally excited by them, and now I just don't get it. I am totally confused by them and what they are trying to do. Honestly if I had to guess, I would say that they are exclusively catering to the Asian market. Here in CA the Asian Market is HUGE. But I know it's huge everywhere. Their new stuff doesn't appeal to me at all.

When they first came out, I couldn't lose. They were different, exciting. Now, I just walk by them. They look and sound cheesy now.

My only experience with them was during the M&G in Vegas (before I was humiliated). They did me good. Haven't seen any on the East coast.

We don't see many in the midwest casinos. Maybe poor marketing.

I loved Giant Panda, and I thought Queen was the coolest machine I ever played. I really never had good experiences on the other titles. I was excited about the different styles of machines.

Oh, I hope they have something good to show at G2E! Last year was one big WTF. Some of my favorite -- if sometimes emotionally taxing -- slotting experiences have been on Aruze games like Shen Long and Rock You Queen. But they totally lost me with the whole Radiant Reels thing. And their marketing (at least in the US) is a total shambles. It's enough to make me want to call them up and offer some professional help.

I like the slots they have come out with in the past but I agree they have been very quiet lately and not announcing much for G2E. On Facebook they have a video of "Rich Life" which will be at G2E, along with some other slots that are further down on the timeline. Here's the link to their page on Facebook where the video is located, for those of you who have FB accounts.

    Hi BigDaddy:

Any suggestion why so many people disagree with your statement? I play WMS games more than any other. I'm not up, or down, any more than any other manufacturer -- but I've had more fun!

This question still nags at me.
