I <3 4 beasts mechanical reel game. I hit $500 jackpot on it once, a one hundred and something jackpot a few times, and got big winsin the 4 beasts bonus games. It is fun to play, but one of my locals took it out and my other local I go to, always full of players on it.

Every game has its loyal following. I've tried some of the Aruze at my local....but they were just too jarring to my senses. Add to that the fact that I never won more than twice my bet back on any of them and that explains why I just pass them by. Maybe I should take another look.

On my LV trip about five years ago, I won $200 (on a minimum bet) on an Aruze Showgirls machine at The Freemont while waiting on our room to be ready at the Golden Nugget. Seriously, it was the first machine I put money in on that trip. I looked for it everywhere I went on that trip....and luckily it was pretty common.

There was something about the bonus round with the added wilds and the showgirl in black shaking her finger at you when she didn't give you a wild that I just found hilarious...drunk or sober.

Unfortunately, the next trip two years later....no sign of the machine anywhere.

Anyone seen it anywhere recently? I'd almost be wiling to make a special trip for it.

Played their new Sinbad slot at the Palazzo in LV about 10 days ago.
Had fun with all the little bonuses and ended up winning the $538.00 jackpot after about an hour of play.

I like Aruze games when I feel like sitting for a while, playing minimum and enjoying the slots while
taking advantage of the cocktail service.

Four Chinese Beasts is also my favorite Aruze machine. I've hit the top progressive of over $500.00 twice so far, both times playing minimum bet, and have had some pretty decent hits during the other bonuses.

Are they the ones with the really bright light slot machines? They are not my cup of tea. I do not like the bright lights (they seem a bit much for me).

Aruze's initial innovation was to bring the bright LED lights and amped up audio to the stepper slots. I found them interesting to play for a while, but have since moved on. One has to give them credit for trying to find ways to make steppers interesting. Konami is another company that tried to amp up stepper slots in the past with their Advantage and spinning face platforms. Both are Japanese companies.

I am wondering how long it will be before one of these companies tries to introduce some form of coin pusher game (not the video type that Konami has). In Japan some of these coin pusher games get very wild (you can see some on YouTube).

Coin pusher games are popular in USA video arcade ticket prize games (e.g. Dave and Busters) but are a rare find within USA casinos for real money. Most cruise ships have them including the scam skill Casino Vault game. Warren can chime in on this one, but I do not believe the randomness versus skill component allows them in class 3 jurisdictions and certainly not in class 2 ones. I spoke with casino managers on cruise ships who love the game for its hold % (heard that 75% or the game returns only 3 out of the 4 quarters that actually drop into the win bucket) and the fact that there is NO real top jackpot issue.

I saw a woman almost win a handpay off of the Aztec Spirit (not sure of the name) at Barona. She was playing the max bet of $3 and had an amazing 168 (I think) spins.

Hi, we play them all the time. We like the Panda ones; all the ones with the bonus that sounds like 3 gun shots, but I can't think of the names of them. We play the panda ones at Pechanga a lot. I once won $400 on a dollar bet--it retriggered several times and gave me about 200 spins. They are not big payers but fun and bonus quite often.
