Something I thought I would never see -- Seneca casinos in NYS going smoke-free. Pre-covid, Seneca had recently banned smoking in the common, non-gaming areas (restaurants, passage ways, lobbies, etc.) Then post-covid, they went totally smoke free and I suspect they are going to stick with it.

    I highly doubt it.
Seneca will never become a smoke free casino (they would lose too much money). Otherwise Canadians have no reason to visit. Once covid lifts, so will the smoke. They may make more of the casino smoke free but highly doubt becoming a smoke-free casino.

Alot of players won't go to DelLago because they are a smoke-free casino.

Only reason Seneca banned smoking in the common areas is because they were forced to by the government. If the government changes things could go back (its all about the money). Time will tell.

I love the BC casinos.... smoke-free ! I always try to visit Red Rock and/or the JW Marriott one when I am in Vancouver before an Alaska cruise.

For many years Caesars in AC has been smokefree for the entire 2nd floor.
Revel was smokefree from the start--but they went bankrupt and is now The Ocean.
For most other casinos I've visited which have smoke and smokefree areas, there are no barriers separating them--so smoke can drift to non-smoking areas.

I am young enough, but old enough to remember making restaurant reservations, and having to request non-smoking.

Willslotforcash, glad to see you post again. Was wondering where you were?
I remember asking for non smoking tables too. The smoking tables and non smoking tables were pretty close together so you would still smell smoke. So glad smoking is not allowed in restaurants anymore.

To be honest, I haven’t gone out to the locals lately, it just not exciting for me anymore. The money goes out way too fast, and I enjoy playing the markets instead. I’ve had a serious disconnect with money it seems.

When my wife and I hit a $126k jackpot 6 years ago, I had a pretty stoic reaction. I was more excited to see that DOUBLE DOUBLE DOUBLE could actually line up on the reels.

Between November to February, I managed to make $160k off a stock, not GameStop, and it was cool to see, but I didn’t do anything. Didn’t go buy a new car, house, or anything. Matter of fact, I was elated to score a pair of ASICS for $25.

Nonetheless, tech stocks got rocked early March, and wiped off $140k of gain in 4 weeks.
@Kuda thank you for thinking of me, it’s always good to see you engaging on here since your husband’s passing.

    Willslotforcash,
Thank you for the kind words. I am taking it day by day.
Has it been 6 years since you and your wife hit the $126k? I remember reading about your hit right after you hit. I was so happy to hear about it.
Years ago my husbands younger brother dabbled in the stock market. He bought stock in Qualcomm. He made a lot of money on that stock and then the stock market crashed and he lost a lot of his money.
Good luck on your stock. Do you own any bitcoin? I wish I had bought some back in 2011 when it was only a dollar. I have been checking into Dogecoin because it is really cheap right now.

I agree with you on the local casinos. Back in 2019 I was winning right and left and now it is hard to win very much.
April 1st I won $100 at Hard Rock and won $500 on our lottery and went to Riverspirit that night and won $500. It seems like I win more on the first and 15th of the month. When you play do you win more certain times of the month?
Hope you keep winning when you go. Good luck.
