Silver Legacy Reno

We are thinking about going on a Total Rewards trip to Silver Legacy Casino in March from Austin and wondering if anyone on this forum has been and what are your thoughts.

DH and I have been there a few times and had a great time. We like to do the whole touristy thing and visited quite a few destinations outside of the casino (the machines aren't going anywhere)!! I remember the first time we went back to Reno after being gone for 20+ years and it was very depressing - so many closed business after the recession hit; our last visit 3 years ago was a bit better as some of it was starting to recover (not to mention 3 handpays - that was a nice bonus)!! We stayed at the Silver Legacy and had a great time just walking between the 3 connected casinos; didn't care much for Circus Circus, but spent quite a bit of time with a great coffee and people watching. Have fun and good luck!!

Thank you Slotjunkie. We can go to Lake Tahoe or Reno so you recommend Reno over Tahoe?

I'm interested in hearing the responses to this post as well. I have offers to go to Reno or Tahoe in March or Biloxi. I have been to Biloxi but didn't really get to go to many casinos...only Harrah's and the Beau. This is the first time I've even seen junkets to these places even offered from Little Rock and Shreveport which are both a hour and a half away so I am very excited to have the options finally. With this virus and these different strains, I just don't know if I will be able to make it. I doubt that they would even be offering the flights though if it were not for the decline in business.
