I've been to AC twice since the reopening. At the "last minute" indoor rest. dining was quashed. You either dine (take-out) in your room, or outdoors under an umbrella--if there is wind not too nice. Since NO drinking or eating is permitted on Casino floor, day-trippers must eat in their cars or on the Boardwalk. I don't know how they compute 25%, but there seem to be more people gambling on a Fri. or Sat. than before COV-19.

Does anybody have anything recent on AC? My partner and I were thinking of making a trip for two nights next week. It's not just about gaming.....there's a bid of nostalgia we have with the beaches and boardwalk. Are shops and food along the boardwalk open for business? Are there people on the beaches? IOW...is there some semblance of summer life for families and kids?

Also, the quarantine rules confuse me. If you are from one of the "bad" states, you are asked to quarantine in your hotel except for go out for food. How's that work? It's all becoming more insane by the day it seems. Thanks.

We spent Fourth of July weekend about 30 minute south of AC and decided to take a drive up to see what it was like. The Boardwalk and Steel Pier were absolutely mobbed. The majority of the boardwalk shops were open and the eateries were packed with to go customers. This was before outdoor dining opened. All of the pictures and social media reports I have read say itís still very crowded.

In terms of the quarantine rules, it depends on the property. Ocean, Hard Rock, and Borgata are not allowing people from the list of quarantine states to check in. It seems CET is still allowing people to despite the regulations.

Thanks Weezie. We're coming from a state that's on the "approved list" and are staying at a CET property. It will be good to just get out and about, flop around in the ocean, and see people laughing and having a good time. Like so many others, I keep waiting to wake up from this long nightmare.

Was there on a weekday in late July. Stopped by the CET properties, Ocean, and Hard Rock. It's disappointing that the CET properties and Ocean don't take temperatures, as much as I've downgraded that temps will be of significant help. Ocean seemed to be attentive at getting people to follow orders while I was there, while CET was more, okay, you are here, we'll set up a lot of people.

When I was there (again, it was Wednesday), it almost felt like regular times. I didn't eat there, so I can't tell you much about it. Beach was crowded, but not packed, if I can draw a distinction there. Gambling wise, there was a lot more people than I expected at all the stops I made, and most people seemed to be following rules. Bally's had a decent crowd when I passed by, more than I expected, but one gets the feeling that CET is trying to get as much money out of Bally's before they hand it off (dunno, just a certain feel on the advertisements and marketing I've gotten, maybe I'm way off base). Wish I had time to go to Tropicana, but didn't.

Day of the week and time of the day probably made a difference in regards to what I saw.
