    Steph,
I agree with you 100%. With all the stupid governors shutting everything down it feels like we are living in China not the US. I am in Oklahoma and we are getting back to some kind of normal now. We do not have to wear masks when we go out. They recommend people that have health problems be more careful which stands to reason.
A lot of our casinos are reopening which is great news.
Got an email from Winstar they are reopening May 27th.
Riverspirit is reopening June 1st. Hard Rock will reopen in June. They said they are opening the smaller casinos first. One thing I noticed is the casinos will probably be hiring a lot more people once they reopen. According to their websites they will have a lot of people cleaning everything from the machines to the hotels and every thing in between.

CT casinos will have some pretty standard restrictions based on what other folks have posted.
Both will have temperature taken upon arrival. Both will have no out of state bus service. Both have only a part of the gaming floor open. No poker at either. No buffet at either, most restaurants closed. No sit down dining in the restaurants (Foxwoods has the ballroom set with widely spaced tables for eating the takeout). Must stand in the corners of the elevators (4 person max). Limited hotel rooms available, 200 at Foxwoods, 400 at Sun. No valet parking,

To those who go, good luck with your playing and health. I think I am going to take a bit of wait and see attitude. I live in a rural area so very little risk by hanging out at home and going to the store once a week.

I know, Charlie, I do. The "narrative" is that of the Expert Class. I know democrats who disagree vehemently with that narrative about the virus and actions and reactions, policy, etc. They also feel helpless, voiceless, and ignored as everything they build for decades is turning to ash. That's why I think it's not about party, rather about status and a dystopian form of control over other people, no matter who. Agree with us or we'll turn you into a ghost.

    Thelma,
I agree wholeheartedly. We need to take our country back or we won't have a country. We need to remind the powers that be in the government that they work for us not the other way around.
As far as the casinos I will go and support them. I hope everyone wins big whenever you go.

This is what I am finding.... I have diligently read both sides... and the extremes on both sides. When I watch certain TV network news stations, my jaw drops at the outright LIES that are being reported as truth. Fear is a great motivator... and it is easily used to manipulate masses. I have determined that this virus is not just a rogue virus that started in some open food market that has poor health standards. Nope.... I think that this has been carefully planned. HOW do we, as the people, rise up? Now... contact tracing... looking and FORCING people to quarantine, or if you refuse they will forcefully remove you from your home and quarantine you at their own housing. Drones policing our beaches, streets, and neighborhoods.... looking for those not obeying. In Minnesota, if you go out in public in Minneapolis or St. Paul without a mask, it is an automatic $1000.00 fine. Gosh.... we, for the past 12 weeks been able to do so without them... and NOW, at the beginning of summer, we are being forced to wear one or face arrest??? Who is going to go out for a beer when you have to wear a mask and take it down at every sip? Or eat out doing the same thing?? With draconian rules such as these, opening all of these places will do nothing because no one wishes to go out and fuss with a mask the entire time. Or.... casinos allowing smoking, yet asking people to wear masks... huh?? It is summer... they can go outdoors to smoke... at least they won't have to wear the mask while they enjoy a smoke. The division alone over what is the truth is terrifying.... because if we are divided, we are more easily overrun, manipulated, and managed. THIS is the most terrifying thought of all.... that they will win and a one world government of tyrannical proportions can be implemented because we were not willing to fight for our rights, but believed the lie.

    Steph,
i agree with everything you said. This is a scary time for our country. The powers that be want to rule over everything we do. It is good seeing some of the sheriffs taking a stand and not bowing down to the governors.
We are lucky here in Oklahoma. We can freely move around and most of our casinos are opening back up. Hard Rock Tulsa will require masks for everyone but the other casinos are asking people to wear them but they are not mandatory. If you have to wear a mask they need to stop letting people smoke until the mask thing is a thing of the past.

Got a call from Treasure Island Casino (MN) yesterday, but couldn't make it to the phone fast enough. They must be reaching out to certain customers and preparing to open. I wonder what kind of free play they are offering. I was getting $120 - $140 a week from them previously. It will be interesting to see what safety measures they are taking. Probably limiting number of people allowed inside, remove chair from every other machine, must wear mask, no smoking, etc., all of which are just guesses on my part. I read somewhere that some casinos are putting up shields between machines, I like that one. As much as I would like to go (getting stir crazy), I believe I don't have any choice right now but to wait and see what is developed for either a cure or vaccine. Yesterday it was reported we had 35 new cases in Olmsted county in one day and there were 24 new cases in Mower county in one day. That alone tells me the risk is too high right now. On the bright side I'm saving money hand over fist. Maybe this time next year they will have a vaccine and I'll take a week and go to Vegas. If they come up with something before the end of the year I would like to go back to my local, but I have to be patient.
