    Back in the Saddle.

Got a green light from both my doctors and rehab staff to resume daily routines. Leg, ankle, and wrist are completely healed. The 6 collapsed discs in my neck are not causing pain and I will push off surgery on that issue until the spring while maintaining exercise routine on my neck muscles and follow up doctor visits.
First order of business was to push some buttons for the first time in 9 weeks. Since Wind Creek ( formerly Sands ) now considers me a non entity with their $ 5.00 a week tribute, I like many others, returned to Mt.Airy Casino in the Poconos who still thinks me worthy of $ 980.00 per month in free play, even after my almost 3 month absence.....
My White Tiger machine was waiting for me yesterday morning when I arrived at 7:00 am and gave me a look as if saying, " Where you been " ?? With my large Starbucks in hand I knew things were back to normal, and played for about 2 + hours relieving them of $ 187.00 while accumulating $ 640.00 coin in towards next months free play offers.
May be my new found awareness of everything around me while driving but on my 39 mile ride back I identified 9 roadside memorial/tributes to accident victims which I had never paid much attention to before. Rt-33 is a fairly rural stretch of road and even with its heavy state police presence I would venture to say the average speed is between 75-85mph. I said a prayer at each sighting for the victim/victims and pondered what might have happened to bring about these tragic events, and knowing full well that but for the grace of God there would have been a similar marker for me along I-78.
My first trip in to work this morning since the accident and slowed down to observe the spot it happened. Can still see where the sod was torn up in the center aisle and where the retaining posts had to be replaced over several hundred feet. I've only seen some photos of my car and that was enough. My son hacked the " Benz " star off the grill as a souvenir for me and that is all that is left of it. The replacement is a week or two off from now as I had a special paint job ordered.
Good to be back at work and surrounded by the people I have missed so much, and that includes all of you....

    Andy,
So glad you are doing so well. I bet it was hard seeing the place where you had the accident. I am so glad you are able to go back to work and glad you are back pushing buttons again. Keep getting better. Good luck.

    Back in the Saddle.

Well, I know your tigers, wolves, and coffee have missed you. How wonderful it must have been to sip your coffee( was it spiked from your flask?) and push that first button. I wish I could have bought that coffee!
