Why is Willy Wonka Wonkavator so bad?

I've seen videos of this being played and tried it myself. $100 in, $6 bets and nothing. The game constantly teases stacked symbols and then never lands them. I did not get the Oompa Loompa, but from what I have seen it doesn't seem anywhere near as good as the other Wonka game from a few years ago.

We had the original Wonka which was sort of ok, which turned into:

Simpsons High Roller which could be fun. But, I played it a lot and never got any of the other bonuses except for Donut and Monorail. I used to think WTF why don't these other instant bonuses ever show up? Maybe the casino has set the probability so low? The 'character in a corner bonus' never amounted to much.

Simpsons got turned into Flinstones and this game was just a money pit. Nobody played it. I only played it a bit, but never got any of the bonuses so I gave up.

The latst Wonka 3 screen.. Wonkavator.. Just a terrible Oompa Loompa bonus that always rips you off. It's not fun to be constantly teased and then you lose over and over - the regular spins are just abysmal.

The casino might be wondering why people don't play these games? It's because they are beyond unfair and don't even give you any decent play value for your money. Not just that, but players don't even feel like they have any chance of winning - and they probably don't.

I have never seen any big wins on that three screen Wonka.
I bet you I can stop gambling!

Yeah the wonkavator pays are kinda bad. I actually just uploaded a video on it, it has potential if you get the wonka wild respin feature + the Oompa Loompa feature together. See this video, the last Oompa Loompa win...

    https://youtu.be/aDwOi_Aig4c

still not a huge win though!

I watched the video and yeah, not big wins. You probably won't play it anymore right? These games are going to sit dormant.

You forgot about Seinfeld 🤣 how could you forget that *great* game that SG spent big money on developing.
I haven't had a chance to play The Flintstones Welcome to Bedrock because Caesars Windsor got it exclusively for 6 months. One that runs out, I'm sure my local will get it. As for the other Wonka releases, I tried them in Vegas and I wasn't overall impressed to say the least. Dont worry, SG is going to knock it out of the park when Everlasting Gobstopper is released (later next year) but it's in the Gamefield 2.0 cabinet (same one Bond uses). If SG was smart, they would bring back the 3RM version. That was probably the best release out of them all.

I might give it another try. I actually ended UP after playing this game, like $300 after playing it for a while. I didn't get a lot of huge wins but I did get bonuses very frequently. So that was kind of fun. I like to mix up my play between super volatile machines and less volatile machines like this. I had won a bunch of money on a volatile machine just prior so I wanted to play something a little easier to bonus on and it did deliver. But I really miss Ruby Slippers and the original Wonka, which both gave you the opportunity for much bigger wins.

I'll have to try it. Still a fan of the original Wonka Winko three screen with its Oompa Loompa buy up frequency bet. They still need to create more original Flintstones "Yabba Dabba Doo" low volatility bonus frequency hit type of machines... as that is where all the fun happens.

I have played the new flintstones many times. I will say when i first played it in Vegas my wife and I had a blast on it. Very active lots of bonuses and Yabba dabba action. Not gonna win huge but you can play for a long time when the machine is in a good mood. I also think the game content is fun!
