How do you feel when asked for money.

So the other day I went to one of the casino's that I frequent. To play my Free play . Well this particular casino you have too have at least one dollar of your own money to start the free play , Than after that your good to go. So I was cashing out a ticket for about $ 160 dollars & I had a gentleman standing beyond me , Who asked if I had a dollar he could borrow. So that he could start his free play. I told him I would just give him the dollar. I'm sorry but even with free play I at least bring 10 dollars with me. Especially this casino. Most of the time the free play is about $120 dollars a week.

Ive never been asked for money at the casino. Im not sure how I would feel. If it were just $1 I might give it if I had one dollar bill but usually my cash is in the game or I have twenties. I probably would just say "No Im sorry".

That was nice of you to give a dollar. That person should've had their own dollar.

I encountered a woman in Resorts the last time I was in Atlantic City. She was slumped over a chair and I stopped to see if she was ok. She told me she had a bad knee and was just resting. As I started to walk away she proceeded to tell me it was her birthday and her family had forgotten. I wished her a happy birthday and told her to have a good evening. Her response was if you give me a 20 you would be making my birthday better
I just walked away shaking my head.

It makes me uncomfortable...especially when they sit there staring at you while you're winning before they ask. I can usually sense when they are getting ready to ask. It's only happened to me 3 times so far.

I have only been asked a couple of times. Once on the way to the bathroom. Told him I was broke.

I also do not like when I am playing and there is someone sitting right next to me at a machine not playing, just watching me play. I had a guy say he was good luck for me when I hit a WOF spin. I thanked him for his good luck and cashed out to move.

In AC, I get asked for money all the time, especially at Ballys. I find it amusing when I am sitting in a no smoking section where I am obviously not smoking, and someone asks me for a cigarette.

I usually tell them I am down to my last dollar and will be leaving as soon as I find my ride. They should not be there if they don't even have a dollar.
