    CET to raise Resort Fees at some LV Resorts

    Here we go again..
    Looks like the bean counters are looking for more magic beans.

    Caesars Entertainment announced today that it will be raising its resort fees at some of its Las Vegas resorts effective October 15, 2019.

    The decision comes no surprise as its competitors MGM made a similar announcement a few months back.

    CET says the decision was made because to bring the fees in line with its competitors. They also mention about how how the Resort fee includes free in-room Wi-Fi access (20 mbps), free local calls and 2 passes to the fitness facility.

    Here is which properties will be effected;

    Caesars Palace
    NoBu Hotel

    The resort fee will increase to $51.02 (with tax) per night.

    Also the recently purchased Rio Suites will see an increase to $39.68 (with tax).

    As always Diamond and Seven Stars card holders have these fees exempt.

    Today's announcement just angers me more. CET is a greedy company. They obviously dont care about its low level players. As a result of this decision I have cancelled my upcoming reservations at CET. What is it going to take to stop the bleeding of these ridiculous fees?

    Dumbasses! sigh... I own a couple of small retail businesses, and I love it when my local competition raises their prices!
    They have given me a big edge that increases my volume,... why would I give that up?
    These casino execs are so blinded with greed they have lost all common sense...

    I'm 7* so this doesn't affect me. When one books a room are you warned about (potential) fees up front or do you learrn about them at the end?
    They're ripping off gamblers with TIGHT slots and now they want to increase obnoxious fees even more--GREED.

    I usually book CET rooms through their website, and they do mention the fees in the end of the booking. They don't, however, mention the parking fee. (I don't know why, but I rent a car whenever I'm in Vegas.)
