MGM terrible for locals??

Over the past few years I have heard lots of complaints about locals etc and the terrible comps that often come with due to increased visits plus places like MGM are federally regulated etc and cannot give as good comps I guess as the Indian Casinos??


If I ever thought I got boned comp wise at the Indian Casinos the MGM property here locally that I visit has taught me that I did not realize how good I had it at those places, I am just tired of all that driving.

WHAT! Man your tribals must be way more generous than those here are, our MGM comps are through the roof by comparison despite far, far less play.

well MGM has lots of promos where you can win free play, I have won quite a bit of it recently but that has nothing to do with comps. I have to say I have never ever had such low return on free play though ever.....often 30-60 percent...it just seems strange that I continually pick bad machine after bad machine. There are so many games here geared to really take the slot player to the wood shed....1c games and so many have individual big progressives but the payouts on the line hits are abysmal. On one machine 4 lines of wilds with the second best symbol paid 12x bet....What those two indian casinos have are a lot of the old 3 reel one pay line games that are single denomination. These machines really do pay. They are slowly removing them over time but there are still plenty and my entire career down there was more or less financed on those wins. Of course I played to a point of loosing enough of my own $$ but I also have witnessed these games from 25c to $100 pay out and pay big (top symbols or top symbols and a red 7 etc)

What’s up with the freeplay paying back 30-50%? I have noticed this, too.
