I wish the slot makers would get back to the 50 cent and under minimums. So hard to find a good machine in this range any more. If I stick a 20 in a machine I want a lot of spins for a chance at a bonus. The 75 and 90 cent bets really chew a 20 up in a hurry. On SG games I have quit betting the more frequency bonus bet. The extra 25 cents or more a spin I save gives me extra spins and chances at a bonus. Not sure how much more of a bonus chance I have the other way. The only exception I make to this rule is the new monsters game by SG. The extra 25 cents buys 4 spins(instead of 3) in the lock it link round and extra spins if you get bonus spins. I don't even expect I will win to often just want my entertainment to last longer. Casinos are setting the paybacks too low and when you combine that with bigger bets necessary to play that is a formula for upset gamers. The graphics, sound, and technology is great but not at a greatly lessened experience.

    SlotM,
I agree about Jinse Dao being a really fun machine. Have you touched the screen where the dragon or bird is? If you have not you need to swipe the screen and see what the dragon or bird does. The bird gets really mad and the dragon acts like it is sneezing. I like when the pearls show up on that game too. Money Ball is fun too. Right now my favorite is Ultimate Firelink. I know it is a link game but I love it anyway. Another new one I love is Ultimate Firestorm. They just got those at Riverspirit. Fortune Gong is another great machine. I won a jackpot of $1246 at Riverspirit a couple weeks ago and won a $5000 jackpot on it at Hard Rock July 20th. It gave me a full screen of wilds on a $5 bet.
This weekend I played the Oompah Loompah machines and hit $820 on a $5 bet. The oompah guys came out and gave me a bunch of wilds with at first a 5x multiplier and then they gave me a 10x multiplier. I was very pleasantly surprised with the $820 hit.
Anyone play a game called Yi-Ben-Wan-Li or Song-Fu-Song-Cai? Riverspirit just got these and they are great to play. Max bet is $3.40. Another new one at Riverspirit is a clone of the Spin It Grand. I forgot to get the name of it but it was a lot of fun to play.
Good luck everyone and hope everyone had a great Labor Day holiday.

Thanks @Kuda I will certainly give that a try next time I'm at my local. I didn't have much luck on the Fortune Gong myself. It didn't last long as it was just replaced at my local with Fortune Link (dam link games just wont go away). My observations with Fire Link has been that you need to have a pretty substantial bankroll to get ahead on it. Haven't tried any of the others you mentioned but I will certainly keep an eye out when I'm in Vegas for G2E. The new Flintstones Wonka and WOZ still haven't showed up anywhere near here. I am looking forward to playing Game of Life when LOTR Rule them All loses popularity (which probably wont be for a while). SG did a great job with that one. The new Raging Rhino and Ruler of Luck are on my must play list when I see them as well because of the possibility of big wins on little bets (almost as good as awesome reels so i have heard). Now its Aristocrat's turn to wow me

    SlotM,
sorry you have not had luck with Firelink. Since last June I have hit over 30 jackpots on the Firelink so they are by far my favorite. I have done really good on all kinds of bets on the Firelinks. Fortune Gong has been really fun too. Have you tried Starwatch Fire or Starwatch Magma?
Hope you win big in Vegas. Good luck.

I finally hit a firelink bonus and some free spins the last time I was at MGM. Not a horrible game. They dont let you change the denom so I can only bet 5$ a spin max.

The Starwatch games there are awful, at least to my wallet. I have put in 300$ and at 6$ a spin been broke in 5 min or so. I have hit one fireball bonus that amounted to nothing, and the blue ice icons have never paid much.

I saw some videos of a new slot called Rising Fortunes. It plays like Fortune 88 and also has the Link theme.
Does anyone know where I can find these slots? Does anyone know if Vegas has these?
    Good luck everyone.

The one that pays me some money. Unfortunately, Still searching... I think going prospecting for the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine in the Superstition Mountains might be more rewarding , except for the Rattlers, Scorpions, and Tarantulas along the way.

I know Cosmo has it (seen a few play it on their live streams). Probably more Casinos will get it soon, seems to be quite popular at Seneca Niagara and Elements Mohawk. I dont like the high dollar denom options they have been adding in their games lately. All this does is make the games a
    richer for the rich.

    SlotM,
Thanks for the reply. I agree about the higher denominations. I don't have a problem as long as they have a low denomination too.
I went to Riverspirit tonight and did really good on the Oompah Loompah machines and on a $5 red spin machine. The Firelinks were pretty good too. I am now a Onx card holder which is their highest card. One of the perks of the new card is I can stay at Cesears Palace in Vegas for 4 nights free. I have been wanting to go back to Vegas so I may have to put my new card to good use.
    Continued good luck to you.

I enjoy playing Jinse Dao too, but I've got to learn when to walk away.
