Do you ever get a little jealous of your slot neighbors,But are still happy for them

So yesterday my sister, daughter and I went casino hopping. And at one of them I was playing Lightning Links. And a lady sit down next to me ,put a 20 dollar bill in .Than she turns to me and ask could I explain to her how to play the game.So I show her how she can change the bet. She decides to go with betting on the 2 cents .And on her 3 rd spins, She get the ball bonus her first ball that dropped was the major for$537 dollars . She looks at me and goes is that good or bad. I told her that was very good. In all total she won 615 dollars on the game.

Yes.. I totally understand this.. Many years ago I was plugging away at an outback Jack and betting 90 cents which then was a bit out of my comfort zone. A lady sits down very close by and on the min bet of 30 cents very quickly has the random card feature come up and correctly picks for the major of $900 something.. She was beyond clueless as to what she won, how she won it... Sigh..

It hurts when you are betting 6-10$ a spin and hitting nothing and the person next to you is min betting and drilling bonus after bonus. You keep thinking about how large your handpay would be hitting bonuses with your bet.

I agree. I always try to be happy when someone wins but it is always nice if you can win too. Good luck everyone. Hope everyone wins big.

Last week fortunately I was the object of the jealousy.

Usually play LL Heart Throb or Eyes of Fortune. Two of each version taken with people waiting.Newly installed version called Dragons Riches available. I'm not big on all these Chinese themed machines but decide to throw a $ 20 at it playing a buck a spin.

    YIKES !!! Third spin I get the Lightning !! 2 showing $ 50, 3 showing $ 35, and 1 showing $ 20. $ 225 showing right off the Git Go. 3 spins produce a $ 35, a $ 20, and a $ 10, and I'm up $ 290 on a $ 3.,00 investment. Out of my right eye I see the woman to my right looking over and shaking her head.
I move up to $ 1.50 wagers and 4-5 spins later I get the Lightning again for another $ 135.00. I see the womans hands go up in frustration , and I turn to her and say, " This is only happening because I don't know what I'm doing on this game, never played it before ". She proceeds to cash out and leave, as did I, but with a TITO for $ 411.00 .....

    So...I'll be honest....if I don't know the person I'm a lot jealous....not happy at all....especially if I'm having a bad day.

But, I've been at the other end....when someone had been betting and betting and betting with nothing to show. And I sat down...and got a great bonus on the minimum bet after a couple of spins. He got up and walked off. I doubt he was happy for me.

Now if I know the person, even if it's just someone I've chatted with....although still jealous, I'd be happy for them.

About 2 years ago, I was playing a slot near the front entrance to the casino. There were 3 identical machines.... all with progressives. I never look at them too much... the progressives... because I have never won one... even if it is near the turn over amount. So... I sit down and play the middle machine. There was a woman to my right who had fed a ton of money into the machine on my left. She won NOTHING.... not a bonus... that machine just took her money quickly, and she was betting max. About 2 minutes after she left, a very tall elderly man came up, and inserted one $5.00 bill. He bet minimum, which on that machine was 50 cents. His third spin he turns to me and taps me on the shoulder... and says to me " I put a 5 into this machine, and now it will not do anything... can you help me? I looked up, and the machine was flashing a progressive win of $4,766.73. I told him what he had just won.... and he told me that he does not come to casinos, and that he had JUST walked in the door, and this was the first machine he played. His friends had invited him to come with them, and he came because it was hot outside and he thought "why not?" He had invested an entire $1.50..... and won that jackpot. I could not have been more jealous.... darn that beginner luck!! I congratulated him, and told him what would happen. He was totally dumbfounded.... and left most likely about $4,750.00 richer.

Playing Class II slots at an Indian Casino, I'm totally justified to be jealous of them. If they're winning, likely chance is that I'm not.

I guess I’m average on the jealousy meter, but not when it comes to the casino. Everyone has good & bad days. It’s all random, just the nature of the game.

Went to visit my friend in AZ and we took a trip to Laughlin for the weekend. One night we decided to casino hop on one side of the strip only and spend one hour minimum betting in each one till we came to the end of the strip and then head back. We were at the Golden Nugget and right there by the doors are a bay of Fortunes 88 which I love (but they don't love me back most of the time), I sat on the empty end seat and the guy next to me was just pounding on the buttons, bitching loudly that he has gotten no play from the $700 he has already put in and he was betting $1.76 per spin (yikes)!! and has never had the pot close on him. I put in $20 and bet .88 and on the second spin my pot closes; you would have thought I dumped hot coffee in his crotch, he jumped so quickly out of his chair; knocked it over and starting cussing - I really thought this guy was mental. Security was there in seconds and he kept saying he was just upset, I just sat there watching them take him away (they cashed out his ticket of a few bucks and gave it to him as they escorted him to the door). I ended up with the mini (of course) and after about 10 minutes cashed out with about a hundred dollar ticket. During that time, someone came and sat at that guys seat, betting max at $8.80 and after about 4-5 spins hits the bonus and cashes out at a little over $1000. He was there maybe 5 minutes and cashed out and left. I'm glad the other guy wasn't around, he probably would have exploded!! Was happy for him, and me too as I left with a bit of a profit, but I felt kind of bad for crazy guys situation. He was MAD!!!
