    Crazy comeback

I wish I had photos,, but I just had to share the story.

We're at Cliff Castle in AZ and I was having a rough nightódown $600. I played the last of what I was willing to spend on a 1c Lion Festival with adjustable lines. When I was down to 10 cents and my husband was getting ready to get up and leave, I bet 10 lines x 1 to use up the last ten cents...

And hit one bonus symbol on reel 1, then the rest of the reels full. On 10 lines that was 56 spins.

I took the credit option and wound up with $26.

Back up to 20 lines x 5 for a $1 bet, I hit a bonus with a mess of drums for over $200.

Moved to a Fairy's Wish, got a bonus on another $1 bet, near-screenful of rubies for about $300.

Cashed out finally at $400... from ten cents. (Still down, but by nowhere near as much.)

It ain't over till it's over!

    Great story and comeback, Tobiathan..

Brought a smile to my face and fond memories when you mentioned Cliff Castle. 3 years ago we flew in to Phoenix going to Sedona for a 5 night stay. Flight from Phila. was delayed and we didn't get in to Phoenix until 7:30 that night. Not knowing the area I didn't want to drive during the darkness, called our B&B and they were kind enough to cancel that evening and told them we'd see them the next day.
Someone told us about Cliff Castle and we decided to stay there that evening. Eyes lit up when we were told there is a casino attached to the Hotel.
Arrived and headed to the restaurant and had some incredible Tortilla Soup, and some Buffalo Filets.. Absolutely wonderful. Got the itch to try the casino and a tram took us to the adjoining property. Half way there the tram driver abruptly stopped and pointed to 3 very large Tarantulas walking across the front of the vehicle...
We won $ 105.00 on a Buffalo machine ( felt guilty after eating the Buffalo filets ) and called it a night..
Great comped breakfast in the morning and we headed up to Sedona. Got to see a Scorpion, a Rattler, a Road Runner, and honest to goodness Tumble Weed during our stay.
Absolutely loved the area, took a lot of day trips. Asked a local where we might go to try and find some Gold. He looked me straight in the eyes and said, " If I was you I'd try them Jewelry stores in Flagstaff " , smiled and walked away...

This made me laugh out loud as on our trip to Arizona in March, whenever we were driving around I'd say "I wanna see a tumbleweed!" Nice to know other people have those same goals!! LOL Andy
Home is where the heart is but any spare change I find goes in the Vegas Fund!

    Hi Wendy,

We were actually up around Flagstaff heading towards the Grand Canyon and it got kind of windy. All of a sudden the road was inundated with these flying , rolling bales of weed, just rolling along and headed nowhere in particular. I WAS THRILLED !!!
My other goal was to see a Road Runner ( Meep Meep) like Wiley Coyote always chased in the cartoons. Only saw 1 in 5 days of looking.

Hope you are having a great summer....
