    Hard to win

Casino in Saskatchewan Canada. $300 used to be able to play 4 or 5 hours. Now all new game progressive driven $400 on .88/$2 bet don't last 1 hour. The fun is gone.

Everything has tightened up. I'm still staying away for a bit - I've had 2 winning sessions back to back (came out a couple hundred ahead, but I'll take it), so I know the downhill slide is coming so I'm putting it off.

After nearly 60 years of playing slot machines I am almost totally turned off. I haven't had a winning session in months so I have reduced my bankroll, bet size and visits to conform to what the greedsters apparently want. The greedsters won't even go by the slot manufacturers recommended payback that is intended to maximize the bottom line for the casinos. The question now is: will greed prevail and cause the demise of the gambling industry or will those in charge wake the hell up.

Sorry to hear that... Yes it is hard to win... My expectations are so low I don't even consider winning, I just want to survive and come home with half my bank roll...
Unfortunately sometimes that is asking too much...

I guess it isn't just my locals, it is everywhere. My trips I go in usually with 500$, and within an hour, I am in my car leaving. My last hand pay was in 2016. Comps, free play, and meal vouchers are gone. You need to be super Elite status now to get any of that. If you want free play now, especially at Tampa Hard Rock, you have to earn it, and work for it. 800$ played will get you 20$ bounce back free play. So, I have had dozens and dozens of trips with 500$ where I earned nothing. It is ridiculous.

Iíve basically given up on slots.
Iíve started playing blackjack, only using basic strategy and doing pretty well.

I now play slots for fun only and win enough on BJ to be able to lose, have fun and not sweat the money.

To be honest I am taking break too I live in Washington State and I haven't had a good win streak at all except for the beginning of this year normally my bank roll is about $100 with me sometimes going thru the walk of shame when I shouldn't so this time around I think I will skip the casino for about maybe a month or 2 because I used to go on tuesday night since it is x3 the points however, on tuesdays now I work from 4pm to midnight. But with me staying away for awhile I can build up my bank again.
