To Move or Not to Move on a Lightning Link?

At Borgata and played some Buffalo Grand and left up $100 after a long run. Wanted to see/play something different and went over to a Bengal Treasure Lightning. Usually tough to get on these so I sat at the only open one with a Major at $514. Played $1/spin for about 10 minutes, got the bonus and re-triggered 3 more times within the bonus for 32 spins and a $105 hit.

As the bonus ended, the Bengal Treasure next to me opens up and the bonus is over $800. Decide to make the quick move in case the rare Green Snapping Turtle should surface. Play for about 10 minutes with barely a sniff as the machine I left is breaking even. Heavy sigh, continue to play and SNAP as the Major barely sneaks in with enough friends to count:

A quick "Yeah" yell, fish pump and think for once a strategy play works. Played out the remaining Hold & Spin with nary a worry about a handpay for an $880 hit.

Immediately cash out, give DW $200 to play. Hit another $200 on a Heart Throb while DW hit $150 on High Stakes playing $.50 for about 45 minutes - unique thing was she hit $150 all on free spins, never a Hold & Spin bonus.

    Outstanding, Randy,

I live for the hunt on those Majors having heard that winning Snap 9 times now.... Read my post from Sunday as I played the Heart Throb for 4 hours straight and never caught even a glimpse in passing of that Little Green Monster or the Blue Minor but got the Dark Moon bonus 10 times , a couple of which were big....
    Congrats on your wins.....

L2 - hang in there. While Lightning isn't my top game I do play it a little frequently. Took me several years to get a Major. Seems once I broke the ice, it got easier as I've had 3 in the past several months.

I scout the slot floor for the highest major and try to play when they are already built-up to the $1000 major on the penny version of the game. Hit it once at the $1000 major and it did not reset to $500 as it still had another $1000 built up from so many previous plays.

I do the same thing, Slotspert. Lightning Link is a mature game now and they have added so many additional machines that the old waiting lines of several years ago have disappeared. Except for those machines showing a $ 1,000 Major which the seats never get cold on. A lot of money being thrown at these ones and very understandable that the back up escrow will produce another $ 1,000 when reset.. Smart bunch of people at the Helm of Aristocrat...
