    Nice casino bus trip

The bus runs every month but I only go a few times a year. I have retired colleagues that go so we have fun and all lunch together at the buffet. The bus only goes to two casinos in Mississippi. These casinos give back to the group sponsoring the bus trip based on riders play, and the group picks a charity to donate the proceeds each month. St Vincent the Paul, food bank, etc. I like that it’s a good cause too.

I always try to find machines that are multi denominational and play on the highest one(within budget). It doesn’t always work, but yesterday it did! Sorry, missed taking a pick of a machine that paid $200. Here are the two best images!

Well very nice. That looks like the way to cover the bus trip costs.
I bet you I can stop gambling!

Great way to start my morning seeing some winning photos from Helen while I'm enjoying my bowl of Special K with fresh strawberries... Think I'll celebrate your wins with a couple cups of Chickory coffee this morning..
Love the concept on the bus ride and the charity contribution, and getting together with old colleagues. Sounds like a picture perfect day....

    Helen,
Great hits. It is always fun going with people you know. Which Casinos does the bus go to?
I like going on bus trips. I went years ago to Kansas City. The bus trip was free and they gave us a free buffet and also we played bingo on the way. It was a lot of fun. May have to do it again sometime. Continued good luck.

    Hello Kuda!
The bus is sponsored by the Telecom Pioneers. I think one or more use to work at South Central Bell or Bell South. (Remember when they use to be Baby Bell companies?) They only go to two casinos, Hollywood Casino or Silver Slipper Casino in Bay St. Louis, MS. They have checked for other Casinos to go to in the MS Gulf corridor, but either they don't want or don't pay enough for charities or maybe didn't provide freeplay to bus riders, not sure what their issues where. They won't check Louisiana Casinos west of the MS River, because of traffic issues. There are often accidents on the I-10 Atchafalaya spillway and it would delay the bus getting back before dark. There are bus riders that have issues driving at night. I use to not like going to Silver Slipper because of the awful cigarette smell when you enter the casino, but they have put a new air filtration system and its 90% better. They are also currently changing out carpets so nice to see they are making improvements. Thanks for asking and best of luck to you. I did meet you last year at Coushatta, but I know there were lots going on!

Well, my strategy is to look for machines that have 25 cents, 50 cents, $1. Put it on highest denom and alternate 1 , 2 or 3 credit betting. Really depends on the Casino. This casino has a lot of lower denom machines, so thought I go for it. Doesn't always work but it did this visit. I do notice some casinos don't have multi denom machines when seeking three wheel slots, I wonder why that is?
