    Recent Northern Michigan Trip

We took a bus tour of several casinos in northern Michigan. I wrote and posted a rather extensive report on Hub Pages. Enjoy.

Thanks for your trip report! A great read, nice pictures, sorry about the bus seating that is a bummer. I have balance, ear issues, cannot ride in the rear of the bus for a long period of time. Some people get car sick, me, my ears over adjust, takes time to readjust when I get off, worse if I ride in back.

I live in NE Wisc. sometimes the bus company I go with does a swing through the U.P. with several stops, an overnight at the "Soo", and the Island by Escanaba. This turns out to be a 3 full days and 2 night deal but 5 casinos (2 on the small side). With casinos cutting back on promos for bus trips, lack of interest due to poor returns, they've been adding more sight seeing rather than casino trips.

I, too, notice that the benefits of the trips have been reduced, therefore the patronage, and therefore the number, length, and affordability of the trips offered.

When we lived in south and central Florida we used to charter bus it to Biloxi quite a bit. Used to enjoy it a lot.
