    Total Rewards Laughlin NV trip

We have been getting mail from Total Rewards about a comped trip for two to Harrah's Laughlin . We were just thinking we might try to out since we have never been. Has anybody in the group ever been to Laughlin and did you like it?

Definitely not Vegas. Older casinos. But itís very pretty right on the river. If I had a free trip I would go again. Where r they flying you into?

This trip flys out of Austin TX and goes to Laughlin is what the offer says. Not sure what airport we would land at.

You would land across the river in bullhead city, Arizona. They then haul you to the casino on a bus or large van. Harrahs is right on the beach. It's the only property on the river that is not part of the Laughlin river walk.
The winter months are mostly locals and snowbirds. The summer months are again locals mixed with boat and jet ski people mostly from California and Arizona.
I go to Laughlin roughly once a year and enjoy it.. It's very casual and laid back.. IMO, harrahs is very tight..it's ok to stay there..
They have a smoking casino and a non smoking casino both small..
I can recommend the riverside casino which used to be pretty divey but has improved. Their buffet overlooks the river and is fine.. There is a very cheap boat tour they run daily that's excellent.. From about May thru the end of September, the temps are boiling.

I'm going to Laughlin the end of February and staying at the Colorado Belle. It is a riverboat themed casino and I've been staying there every time I go to Laughlin; they don't have a lot of the newer slots, but the casino is centrally located so we just "casino hop". The riverboat tour is awesome and if you want some non-gambling time, there is a small outlet mall there - not much to choose from, but something else to do. Have fun !!
