    Mirage 2/24/19-2/27/19

So yeah...my first time to Vegas is happening. I've never even traveled west of the Mississippi before. I would appreciate tips on what to do and not do thanks lol.

Awesome!! You're gonna have so much Fun!! !
My 1st trip to Vegas we did very little gambling. My thoughts were I can gamble anytime, I want to see the strip and I want to see All of it!!
I think we walked into every hotel from Mandalay Bay to the Stratosphere! We gambled a little at each stop and loved it!!
BTW, Mirage is a very nice hotel and if you're casual dining their buffet "Cravings" is rated not the best but above average on the strip...
I have eaten there and it was very good
    Good Luck & Safe Travels!!
    Here with You! since 9/29/09

Youíll enjoy the Mirage. Itís a perfect location mid-Strip. My room overlooked the volcano, so I could see it erupt at night. It ends at 10 I think, so itís not disturbing.
Wear comfortable shoes. Youíll walk all day. Drink lots of water, as the air is dry. Donít miss the Bellagio fountains, and check out Fremont Street downtown. Have fun!

Along with the advice to drink lots of water, we also always brought saline nasal spray and natural tears to deal with the dry air. You are in the perfect location for your first trip. Off the top of my head, free things to do near Mirage.....cross the street to Flamingo and walk through the flamingo habitat, see Big Elvis at Harrahís, of course the Bellagio Fountains and Conservatory. One thing I would love to do if We were able to get there again would be to check out the Downtown Container Park.

Got back a few days ago. Amazing trip. Ended up going with my sister. Had some nice BlackJack and Craps sessions and kept half my bankroll. Other highlights:
-Never have seen flat lands before so that was a sight to behold
-Went on the High Roller. Pretty amazing views from up there.
-Didn't care for Madamm Tussaud's as much but my sister was dying to go.
-Went downtown. Hit 4 Queens, Fremont, Golden Nugget, and The D.
-Strip wise we went to Casino Royale, Treasure Island, Harrah's, Venitian, Tropicana and Luxor (Saw bodies, very moving)
-Seigfried and Roy habitat was beautiful.
-But the highlight for me was the Beatles "LOVE" show. An absolutely exhilarating experience.

How fun! I love Mirage, but have never stayed there. Was the room nice? The Secret Garden is one of my favorite places in Vegas.
