Anybody still winless at the casinos? I am.

Iíve made seven trips to the locals in 2018 and have six busts and one even trip so far. Especially at Casino Lac Leamy, the slots seem to be set at their tightest RTG whenever I play them. My choices might not have been the best: Bejeweled 3D, Colossal Bier Haus, The Walking Dead 2, Zorro and a couple of Konami slots just ate my money. Iím only down $254 since I donít trust government casinos but Iím disappointed with my results so far. This doesnít stop misguided people from visiting the place in droves.

My online gambling has been much better as Iím up $500 but itís always more fun being in an actual casino instead of gambling on a tablet.

    Hopefully everybodyís luck gets better.

Yeah it stinks when you're in a "Real" casino and you can't get any play!! Thank Goodness your online play has more than bailed you out!!
I think at this point you would be very satisfied breaking even at the brick & mortars as long as your good luck continues online...
    I wish you the Best!! .. !

I go to the casino once a week and have won once in ten visits. Lost every penny of my $300 bankroll nine times.

The one time I won it was $800.00, so am down over 2 Grand so far this year and that is only playing penny machines at a dollar or less a spin. :(

Well, not much better results here. Me and DW are long time players and used to go to LV 5 times a year. Now scaled down to 2-3 trips. In "the old days" we could at least break even. Now not so much anymore. We usually come home $2-3k in the hole. So we cut back on our trips.

I know (and everybody should know and understand) that gambling is a negative expectation activity. You may get lucky, but everything is stacked against you and the house always wins.

All I can say is that you have to stay in control. Play within your means and at your comfort level. If that is 0.40C a spin so be it. You do that, your trip will be enjoyable at least.

You all have fun and good luck!

I went in April, was down this trip but stuck to my budgeted bank roll, walked around the casino a bit. Also we had a room so I took a few breaks from gambling to refresh & regroup.

Hope my next trip in the fall is a winning trip.

I'm still winless. I've had 10 trips to the locals now and have 8 busts, two draws and no wins. These casinos have added a ton of new machines and they have to pay those leases some way or another.

I found lower betting on the high stakes lightning links to be ok, but you have to go early to have a selection of machines...I found high max betting on them to be frightening outside of a few solid bonuses(if you are max betting and get a good bonus....bail right after!!)

I play mostly 3 reels but even on the $1 ones you needed a 1k bankroll and that had to be managed very wisely, $5 better have $2-$4k bankroll unless you get lucky quick and that requires good management

One thing I am finding is that some of the old 3 reels will pay for weeks/months but they often have to be played $300-$800 b4 they would hit....when these games are not paying you could sink many thousands in without a solid hit or maybe just one or two nice hits(more on that below)

when an old 3 reel throws you a good win or 2 (say 50-80x bet) I would not take it as an indication of a "hot" machine but rather the game throwing you a trinket or 2 on the way to emptying your wallet if you don't bail soon after

I gamble too much but pay close attention to the way machines play...just some observations

My casino trips have become less and less. I went yesterday to Tampa Hard Rock. Brought 500$ in 20s. I decided to just low roll with 20 on each machine. An hour later, I was down to 40. Put a 20 into Buffalo Deluxe, decided to bet 2$ a spin. Hit the bonus and it retriggered up to 72 spins off 9 games with the x5. The end result was 22.45. The lady next to me even said that was extremely f"ing sad! Back between 2003-2010 I would have multiple hand pay's a year, not no more. You rarely even see them if at all anymore.

    That's mindboggling.

10 to 15 years ago if I walked into the local casino, I felt like I had a chance to win something. These days I feel the exact opposite like I have no chance to win anything. Higher bet amounts and lower payouts are the norm now. I am making a decision to not play any more at all.
