$300 and not a penny won....

I was playing a nickel denomination game and I put $3.75 (max bet) all on the center line..... $300 later and total payout was zero! I think that set a new record for me with the most played without hitting absolutely anything. Now, I do realize loading up on a single line is higher risk, but usually there are some mediocre hits along the way.

So I left that place because none of the games were paying out and I was going to give up for the day, but decided to hit another spot. I played a different game, loading up $3.75 on one line. This time I got a bonus which paid $770. So I got most of the money back which I lost earlier and called it a day. Down $100 is better than being down $800...

So, what's the most you lost without the game paying absolutely anything? $300 is my record...

I hear you. At some casinos, the games you mentioned like Buffalo Grand, Gold, Deluxe and several others are unplayable. Lightning Link, Lock It Link, Dragon Link, and that extremely difficult Fireball can be included, too. I believe casinos order these machines at the lowest possible level, which shouldn't even be manufactured or offered to begin with. $900 or more can be gone in 30 minutes without a decent hit or bonus. It has happened to me at several casinos. In Ohio, I only play machines like this at Scioto Downs. They are brutal at Hollywood and Jack casinos.
    .
Once, at Hollywood Columbus, Playing 10c betting around $10-15 a spin, with some $20-25 bets, I put $4000 into the newest Might Cash, a different screen and setup than I had seen elsewhere, before getting a bonus and winning $1700. It was a festival if dud spins. I have had terrific luck on Mighty Cash machines at Coushatta, in Tulsa, OK, New Orleans, and Scioto Downs. Some casinos are so tight that they make these games a horrible experience.
Moved back to Ohio from AZ. Rude awakening. The Ohio casinos are horrible.

Similar happened to me. I went in with 100. Won 880 on buffalo right away. Went to Walking Dead, ticket in for about 960, 3.00 bets and went straight to 0.

Same here. Sinking $300 in Walking Dead betting high. Nothing, nada. I was convinced it would hit. It never did.

Well I take it in stride now, but that day I was not a happy camper.

The question we slot players constantly face is when to walk and move on. A difficult one at best.

    Happy spins my friends.

DW and I decided to hit a casino we swore we would never darken the doors of again but since we were by there decided to take a shot, luckily we only split $120 between us, same result as you no matter the machine we played. Lesson learned cheaply this time, she did actually get one bonus round, that paid a whopping .38 above her activation win so I guess it wasn't a total zero LOL
