So true the other night a guy was playing on one and was betting dime denominations at 50 credit ($10) a spin he dumped about $1000 he would hit the bonuses but got diddly squat , a woman several rows down was betting 1cent denom’ at $5 and hit high chips for over $800 OMG . My thought process or perhaps another slot myth his money that he lost “traveled” down to her machine

People bet the higher denomination, but lower credit amount because it increases the mini/minor level payouts. But from my (limited) experience, betting like this seems to put the game into a lower payout percentage mode. I've played 25 credits @10 cents each ($2.50) for example and never even win my bet amount back. A bonus.... much harder to get.

You are right. So much for the theory of RNG and randomness.

I was wondering how the Maryland casinos were paying out lately... I guess not good? All of them or are there any particular ones that have sucked more than others?

Agree on the payout for LL. I've bonused way more on the 1-cent denom at $2.50 a spin versus the 10-cent at $2.50. Enough to notice it. I also feel like the Lightning Links at my local have stopped bonusing as often in general. Still, they are always packed. Dragon Link, however, is still new enough that people are literally lined up waiting for them.

Newenglander82-- I don't live in MD, but I was at MGM National recently. First time there. Very nice casino, but my take on the payouts was like everywhere else: elusive. I walked out without any decent bonus win on any machine. Mostly bonuses of 10x or 20x if I was lucky.

Yeah, I went there after they opened. Slot payouts were horrible. I went on a long rant here about how much MGM National Harbor sucked and have boycotted for the last year. I guess they haven't changed in that time. Unfortunate :(
