    Feels LIke A Comp

I got an email from MLife offering me a trip for two to the Beau Rivage in Biloxi from Orlando. The total cost would be $50 each for the flights, three nights lodging, ground transportation and baggage handling. The offer included $50 each free play.

Sounds much like the junkets I have been on that were totally free. Wondering if this would be considered a comp in today's business world.
I bet you I can stop gambling!

I get these constantly. As one is expiring i get another one. Only difference is 400 FP (50 for the guest) and it's a 4 night stay.
    I've never taken the offer.

They gave me the choice of three vs four days for the same price. I get emails often offering about the same, but for $199, that were free in the past. You can tell I'm a low roller.

I think my offers are to get me there because I haven't been giving them enough.
The four days is a good way to make sure you're captive for four days, gambling away the farm. Haha

Get them all the time as well. Have taken them up on it in the beginning of the year and theyíve got it down to a science. Very smooth from the time you board the plane til arrival at the resort. Itís a nice getaway.

It is sort of a comp b/c of the free play offer, however itís really more a marketing tool to get you to Beau Rivage in Biloxi.
If you take the trip, play the free play and donít play enough (what they determine) you wonít get the offer again through MLife.
I did the trip last year and it was really smooth and organized. Beau Rivage is a really nice hotel, but I found their casino extremely tight. Also, their food options are expensive. You are better going next door to Hard Rock for some cheaper options.
I much rather play at IP in Biloxi as itís a Boyd property and I do better there.
