    Belterra on friday

Just came back from AC where I made a huge donation😥 But met a very nice woman on the plane who is on this forum, so if you are reading this I hope you won big! Anyway I am going to Belterra for the first time on Friday and want to know if they have Buffalo Gold wonder wheel? My DH is going and really doesn't gamble so we are going to the winery and distillery one day, anyone been there? Is the casino nice? Restaurants good? Any advice is appreciated. This is the Belterra in Florence Indiana

Belterra Indiana is about an hour's drive from my home near Cincinnati, and my DH and I go there 4-5 times/year. We have never stayed there, so I can't speak knowledgeably about the rooms. The property outside, in the lobby area, and in the shopping/restaurant promenade is quite nice. We have tried the buffet which was very good, but neither my hubby or myself is very picky about food. We like the casino because we are low rollers who like to play classic Aristocrat games which are plentiful. Not sure if they have Buffalo Gold Wonder Wheel, but if you like Lightning Link Belterra has quite a few. The casino is quite smokey with only a small room set aside for non-smoking folks. If you have a car during your trip you may want to drive to Rising Star Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana. It's about 20 minutes away from Belterra. Rising Star is also quite smokey but we like it because it seems we can play longer there on our low rolling budget. Hope you enjoy your visit and safe travels!

Belterra is nice. The resort area and golf course are beautiful. The casino was originally one of those "riverboats" that were situated on the water in order to comply with gaming laws but never moved. As such, it has 2 decks like a boat, and is somewhat narrow inside. The casino doesn't feel that small and it is enjoyable. The slots are not generous, pretty tight, but the old Aristocrat selection is solid.
Moved back to Ohio from AZ. Rude awakening. The Ohio casinos are horrible.
