After my long draught (no playing since February); I decided to take a couple hours for myself and headed to Oregon to play the VLT machines. No casinos near me (both are 3 hrs away in each direction) I only took $200 and figured if I doubled it, I would quit and go home a winner; if I lost it all, it wouldn't break me and I'd have some fun for a couple hours. Got my soda, and parked my butt at a Mighty Miner and a few spins in got the bonus and it totaled $198 - I cashed out. I doubled my $ and stayed strong. Went to a Wild Wolf and put $100 in and quite a few spins later . . . nothing. Money gone. Went to a machine I had never played before "Wild Witch"; it has a cool feature where if you get a full column of witches they move to the left with every spin till it goes off the screen, so you are guaranteed a column of wilds with each spin they remain on the screen. I got a bonus which is 15 free spins and about the 4th spin I get a column of witches in the 5th column; she moves over each spin and I get another column in the 5th reel, so I have 2 set wild columns that move with each spin. Next spin I get a couple floating wilds and the high symbol to make multiple 5 OAK's and the witches are still moving - free spin #13 I get another wild witch column on column 5 with no matches for the last 2 spins. By the end of the bonus it was $521. Why didn't I cash out? Because I'm a greedy dumbass. By the time I figured out that lighting isn't gonna strike twice I was down to about $10. Played it all back and left with $100; I could have left with almost $700, but nooooooooo . . . I had to screw up my best laid plans with greed. Oh well, live to play another day.
