    Lightning Link Lounge at Winstar

At the Coushatta M&G the guy from Aristocrat mentioned a Lightning Link lounge opening soon to Winstar. I just checked their website and it's opening this Friday. It's supposed to have more than 150 LL machines all linked together in casino 360. Casino 360 is a smallish circular room with bright lights and lots of noise. When someone wins big there is noise and the win is displayed on these screens things that go around the room.

All of the Lightning Links at winstar are always full, and they have a lot of them throughout the casino. It will be interesting to see how the new room does. I wonder what they will do with all the games currently in there. They have a few games in the I like. I hate it when my games get moved.

I like LL, but I haven't had any luck on them since they first came out. I'll probably go Friday evening and check it out just because I'm curious.

Looks like they already have one of these at Soboba, wherever that is.

Aristocrat really hit a jackpot with this machine lineup, probably their biggest since the Buffalo series, if not their biggest success ever.

Looks like it is Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, CA. I can't believe how popular these are, I've never seen anyone do much of anything in any of the locals here in Maryland.

Soboba was the first to have an installation like this, so it's no surprise with the success of it and Lightning Link that Winstar would take Aristocrat up on it. I'm curious to see how it does as I agree with @Thimus. The past couple times I've been to Winstar, you can't get on a LL machine. They had several banks scattered throughout the property and they were all full most of the time.

I have to wonder though what kind of impact it will make on the main floor to have all these in one central location? When machines are placed, you want to put popular machines next to others to get people to play the lesser played games.

My feeling is that Winstar will basically physically "swap" the machines in Casino 360 for the Lightning Link machines on the floor. I think a lot of the games in 360 are owned by Winstar, but not all. Should be interesting as those games in 360 now have TV functionality as well. I'm sure they will have to add more LL in that room too. Remember, LL is a leased machine so Winstar is really going to be paying a lot to Aristocrat for those 150 machines in that room!

    More info here: https://www.winstarworldcasino.com/c...g-link-lounge/

As a testament to how popular the games are, Eldorado Casino in Shreveport in the past month just added another entire bank of Lightning Link on their 2nd floor. Sam's Town really should as well.

They put a video on their Facebook page. Looks like the entire room is Lightning Link, and some versions I've never played. One with a heart, and one called Tiki Fire. I'm defiantly going to go check it out.

Yeah, those are the new games that just got added recently. They already had a few of those on the floor when we were there. The Heart Throb one has been extremely popular on YouTube!
