Choctaw in Durant isn't that bad. I live in Sherman...so I'm kinda equal distance away from both Choctaw and Winstar, but I choose Choctaw simply because I used to live in Durant for 11 years.

Now yes...I lose at Choctaw.....lose a lot.....BUT I'd say the majority of the time,it's MY fault. Like I'll go,play, and A LOT of the times I'm actually up....like I get ahead. But instead of leaving,I kept trying to get more and more and just lose it all. so even through I do lose,I can't blame it all on the casino.

Like yesterday....I actually doubled my money...but tried to get more and more and bam....lost it all. Like 4 or 5 trips ago,I took 100...got all the way up to 500..then BAM...lost it all.

Every now and then,I'll go and nothing seems to hit,but most trip,it's on me.

Yeah....I played a 25 cent version of this game. I hit the spin button, had a losing spin, then before I had a chance to spin again, the dude with the stick/hammer came out,hit one of the symbols that landed ABOVE the payline......knocked it ON the payline, making that spin a win.

I burst out laughing when that happened...never see that before.

I still play VGT, but more when I go to Choctaw (which isn't very often). I like the VGT selection at Choctaw better. I play a little bit of everything.

May investigate the Comanche casino you mentioned. Anyone else know anything about that one? Thanks
I have made a few trips up to Comanche Red River. Its just a mile across the Red River from Wichita Falls/ Burkburnett Tx.

It's actually pretty nice for a quick casino fix. Decent variety of machines for a NA casino, floor area is clean with fair ventilation. They have a 3 story attached Hotel that is clean. They have a quick fix hamburger/sandwich station plus a sit down restaurant with specials that remind me of a mom and pop diner.

After one visit I received a mailers giving me 50 in free play and rooms @ 29 bucks a night! plus food discount.

Down side for me is no Crown to drink, paying for adult beverages and the constant "Ding Ding Ding" of those Ducky machines...

Been to so many of them from the border of Texas to the Kansas border, from Tulsa to Lawton and every one in the Western part of the state, yes every one of them in the West, I find it's all about the tribe that runs them as to how good they have been to us on a regular or never basis. The Chickasaw I have left up one time in all the visits to their casinos and that was only because I hit an $800 pay on WWII the first 20 minutes we were there and lost half that in the next hour, The Choctaw same way, matter of fact they have been the worst for me overall of any place I have played I don't even remember getting back to my BR let alone leaving ahead, those two run the SE part of the state pretty much, and particularly the Chickasaw have moved into many areas of the SW that are not formerly recognized Chickasaw tribal lands, so they take in all the Texas and Ark money they can especially Texas where they have no gaming to speak of. The NE part of the state which is mainly Cherokee, Creek and Osage has been much fairer and more fun to visit than the SE part has and we have left those if not up with much of our BR in the end. The central part is a real hodge podge, with Citizen Pottawatomie, Sac and Fox, Iowa, Seminole, Kickapoo and Chickasaw in Remington Park and the small Thunderbird(which also happen to be the two worst we have played in the central part) our best play by far has been at the Citizen Pottawatomie and Kickapoo casinos. The NW is dominated by the Cheyenne Arapaho but there are some Little Lenape that we have had some real fun times at, seldom big wins but some great bang for the buck Casino Oklahoma is our favorite of those.
