    IGT sells Social Gaming Business

After a disappointing 2016 performance, International Game Technology is selling DoubleDown - the social casino business it first acquired in 2012 - for $825 million.*"Since acquiring DoubleDown in 2012, IGT has grown it into one of the largest and most successful brands in the North American social casino market," said Marco Sala, CEO of IGT.*The global gaming manufacturer and supplier will sell the entity to DoubleU Games, a social casino operator based out of Seoul, South Korea for a valuation of 10.5 times its full-year adjusted EBITDA for 2016.*

    I don't even understand it.

Why the hell would you pay for tokens to play on a game where you cannot win really cash? If you're going to blow money, go to an actual casino.

    Yup. I don't know either.
I would consider paying a monthly membership fee to get access to premium slots like Monopoly, Jurassic Park, etc and that offered me unlimited access and funds, however I don't see any benefit as a player by the pay per use model. It's too expensive and there is no regulation. And from what I have seen there is ALOT of issues with payments not getting credited or people being frauded. These sites should have to follow the same gaming requirements that an online casino has to follow. It's like they are getting away with murder and the cops are not answering the phones. Something needs to be done.

Oddly enough, High 5 Games just released another Casino App today: Electri5. Is that a coincidence? I think not. They can't fix any of thier other apps so why not just release another annoying pos that they won't support! To hell with these dam sites.
BTW, it's been online almost a day officialy and they have gotten over 500 nasty comments.

Whatever happened to Million Two One? I believe that was also an IGT company...
