AST Fast Cash - Could be more popular than Lighting Link?

So once again, Aristocrat Technologies (AST) may have come out with another gangbusters slot title. This game may even be more popular than Lightning Link!! (which if anyone has noticed, is the most popular slot on floors right now). Why is this game going to be so popular? Simple. Its what players want! Bonuses. Games that hit frequently and give action. Games that the player understands and knows that pay decent amounts. Bonuses that are easy to understand and are fun. Aristocrat knows what the players want! To win.

Fast Cash™ is the first rapid hit wide area progressive multi-game where any bet can trigger any of six jackpots. The jackpots come fast and furious, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement. Higher bets create more frequent jackpots, but even the lowest bet can hit on base games, free games, any game at all!

Maybe but I doubt it. People are a little immune to an extra reel. The Lightning Link game people kid themselves thinking 1/XXXXX is 1/15. I dont understand how this game Lightning Link took off everywhere so fast, other than just assuming it's very profitable. This fast cash game seems kind of expensive and boring to me.
    That's all folks!

I enjoyed playing this, believe it or not it showed up at Indian Head casino in central oregon, one of the smallest casinos in oregon. They actually put in a bank of four of these, backed by a bank of 4 lightning link machines. During the several hours I was there, the lightning link machines were far more popular.

The biggest problem I saw was that the line hits were considerably smaller than on the base game as a stand alone game. If you got the bonuses, it paid pretty well, but without that, the smaller line hits meant your money was gone much quicker. I also had no luck getting bonuses, although I did not have enough play to say it was any slower than the base games.

I did have one nice run where i got several bonuses, and made some money. The lady sitting next to me got the major bonus for almost a 1000 bucks, so that was nice to see. I will definitely play it when I see it, but I don't think it will replace Lightning Link as the most popular game.

Saw these heavily in play at Rincon and Pechanga. There was always a wait to play. One of the players hit the major over and over again. It was crazy.

It is nice to have a real base game I forgot to mention. I'm not sure how much more additional money is needed per spin beyond the game itself. Seems like a chunk from the videos I've seen. I'm guessing and extra 50c beyond the game costs. Used to be nice way back when Aristocrat only charged 5-10c for the added features, less lines, so you could afford an increased bet multiplier. Those days are gone.

Yeah it seems noticeable the base games are really watered down, but not sure.

The math on the lightning link game is noteworthy. The 14/15 coin spot hit for the grand is common which gives that great anticipation of how easy it should be to get the 15th spot especially if you have 3 "stop" attempts. Only true slot fanatics know the 15th spot is the true use of the infamous "virtual reel" with the exact "1/XX,XXX" or even 1/XXX,XXX you are talking about regardless of what is being observed.

Lightning Link has been very profitable to a lot of people without the Grand Jackpot.. It's very fun to play and usually at least one of the machines in the bank is bonusing very frequently. I don't really think people are kidding themselves at all in regards to 1/xxxxx. The coins not showing up at all in the spins when you have 14 sort of helps that, I think.

Fast Cash seems interesting but doubling your bet amount just for a chance at the progressives seems like a little much. I do like the base games you get to pick from so I'll try it at least once.

We were one of the first casinos to install Fast Cash last year. The biggest difference between this game and many others, is that it is a Wide-Area Progressive (WAP) but instead of a giant top JP that rarely ever hits, the top JP is much smaller and will hit very often. (Plus you don't have to max bet) On our link, it resets to $20K. Within a week to 10 days I noticed it was up to over $70K and hit (somewhere on the link, not here). Installs are happening all the time and we are told that once we get 300-400 total games on this link the top award should be hitting every few days.

Ahh...so a winning strategy would be to make sure one is always playing in the casino where the big progressive jackpot hits! ;)

Got two sessions of this game in. I enjoyed it, and the results of the two were wildly different. I played Miss Kitty both times, on minimum $1 bet. Put $20 in, No bonuses, whittled down slowly, just lots of tiny hits (which is what Miss Kitty usually does). Tried a second $20, immediately hit the Mini. On the NEXT spin, hit the minor. Three spins after that, hit the mini again! This got me to around $120. Played a bit more, got a bonus which didn't pay much, and left at $90. While I was playing, a woman who was betting max hit the Big prize and a woman who was betting $2 hit the Major. There were lots of Minis being hit overall as well. Seemed like a lot of action overall.

Second session was just the opposite. Put $40 in, hit nothing at all, no bonuses no prizes. Went quick. Slots giveth, slots taketh! I'll try it again next time I go.
