    Cruise Forum?

It seems that there are quite a number of us that like to get our gamble on onboard ships. I was thinking it might be fun to have a section dedicated to that. Cruise Critic is great for cruising in general, but when it comes to the players clubs and onboard casinos, there really isn't much info out there.

I am sure there are limits to what we can support, so if it's not a good idea, I am fine with that

Does anybody know anything about the Norwegian Sky? How does this Ship compare for gambling as maybe a RCL ship?

I'll be on her in February for the 2nd time. She compares very favorably to the RCL ships doing the short Bahamas runs but can't really compete with the huge mega ships RCL has out there now! It really depends which ship you are comparing to. I happen to prefer NCL's Freestyle over traditional dining/cruising, but lots of people don't so that may be a factor for you. I think NCL's Casino at Sea program is much more genrous than RCL's program, and I remember the Sky as having a decent casino for a smaller ship, but it has been a few years since I sailed her or any RCL ship. When are you thinking of sailing her? I'll have pictures and updated info mid february

I like your idea. Since I have been on over 40 cruises, all the slot floors, except for the Oasis class ships, are indistingushable... which means its very hard to remember which casino on which ship has what. I have many slot floor videos at my You Tube channel "Slotspert99" which helps me remember who has what. I have even held several High Limit pulls in years past on cruise ships organized though Cruise Critics Meet and Greet forums.

Slotspert, I am not sure if you saw the video I did on the Ncl Jewel's casino floor. It is in my trip report - post #72 I think. I am not a good videograpoher, but you are more than welcome to use it if you like.

No cruiser here but sounds like a good idea. As bad as my luck is the 1 st boat I get on will sink way farther from shore than I can swim. And a crew member would be saying, I know your the last person on board sir but there just isn't any more room on the life boats.

I like the idea. We are going on the Norwegian Pearl for their New Year's Eve cruise and will spend most of our time in the casino. Now, Norwegian has a relationship with Harrah's, so I wonder why they don't use the Total Reward plan. That would be great. Maybe the day will come, at least they are giving me free drinks.

Great idea! I am also a cruise critic member. Love to cruise and we spend A LOT of time in the casino. We always book with their casino at sea program (known as CAS). If you look at my avatar thats a $10,000 win on the NCL Star.

I was trying to read the amount but these old eyes couldn't quite make it out, so thanks for saying . Congratulations, that is a fabulous win on land or at sea! Feels even better at sea, though, doesn't it I won $3000 on the NCL Jewel a year and a half ago and it was awesome! NCL makes me happy
