    The game selection is different.

Ah yes. Didn't even think Buffalo Gold and Pelican Pete was there meant anything. Just thought other casinos had game choices the ones I've seen hadn't picked.
    That's all folks!

I found four of these machines at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas. Two are by the craps tables, and two back by the nightclub, can't remember the name of it. My observations:

Pellican Pete: I normally play this machine in Reno and Oregon, and am very familiar with the pay table there. The pay terrible on this was awful, much lower for the same line hit than I am used to. The frequency of the lighthouse showing up was also terrible, given you are playing four screens. I put 150 bucks through it playing .50 a screen, and got two lighthouses in the first two positions less than 5 times.

Timberwolf Deluxe: Since this is my all time favorite slot, i was more than a little excited to play it. The pay table was pretty close to what I find in Vegas, not as good as Reno. I only got a couple of bonuses, and the bonuses did not pay well, but that is not unusual for Timberwolf deluxe. It seemed to me the owls and wilds showed up at about the same frequency as on the stand alone game, and I enjoyed playing four screens, and spinning the wheel.

Buffalo Gold: I play this a lot as a stand alone version, and normally don't do well. The first time, I had one of my best sessions on Buffalo Gold, with multiple bonuses and nice line hits. Played for about 30 minutes on 40 bucks, and cashed a ticket for 100. Second session was not as good, but I still enjoyed it, and got more play than on either Pelican Pete or Timberwolf Deluxe.

The one thing I did not get was all four screens in the bonus. I really want that, especially on Pelican Pete, with the sticky wilds. I am heading back to the Cosmopolitan in about an hour, and will definitely play this again. has the ptoential to be my favorite multiscreen machine.

    Can anyone comment on this:
Wonder 4 Wonder Wheel was installed yesterday at my local and you can not play single games. Only all 4 games. Is this a dumb configuration at my local or that's the way this game is set. I was excited cause I could play 2 Buffalo golds at the same time (get double the action) but I can't afford to play all four at $2.40 a spin. It's just too expensive.

I've seen people play less than 4

Yup, just verified this for myself. Went across the river to Seneca for my free gift, and there i saw the brand new bank of 5 Wonder 4 Wonder Wheel in the center of the casino. All full of happy gamblers and people crowded around waiting to get in the action. My "stupid" local set the configuration wrong (no surprise). "Wonder" how long it will last. I certainly wont play it a min of $2.40/spin. Thats just too rich my my blood. They get enough out of me.

The CET slotfinder says this is now at Harrahs Lake Tahoe. Couldn't get there because of weather, rock/mudslides, etc. to try it. If anyone is going to try to go to Tahoe and back (good luck) play it and let us know.

This is a configuration set by the casino. I always play 4 screens. I do like the idea of doubling up on Buffalo Gold with limited bankroll.

Moved back to Ohio from AZ. Rude awakening. The Ohio casinos are horrible.

Okay, I am back from Vegas, and played 5 sessions on this machine at the Cosmo, 4 sessions on one machine, and one session on a different machine. The four sessions were played on a machine installed that day, all of the spin bonuses were at minimum, the 5th session was played on a machine that had been there longer.

I play 3 of the four games on the machine, Pelican Pete, Timberwolf Deluxe and Buffalo Gold. I don't play the fourth one, don't remember what it is called. I play the same game on all four screens. I play $ 60.00 bucks per game per session, so in a session I am playing $ 180.00. 5 sessions means I deposited 900 bucks in this machine over the 3 days.

I have a system I use for cashing tickets which I followed on this machine. I did not keep exact track, but I cashed tickets for around 600 dollars, giving me a loss of around 300 dollars. That does not sound too bad for a very volatile machine, but is misleading. On the last session, I won the progressive on Timberwolf deluxe for 383.00 dollars. Without that, my winnings sucked.

Here are some comments on the individual games and overall, and my conclusion.

    1. 900 bucks, and I got 15 bonuses. Only one was four screen. I have played thousands of dollars through Wonder 4 wheel with Miss Kitty, and i average one four screen bonus for every 5-6 bonuses. Could be bad luck, but I am guessing the odds of getting the four screen bonus are far worse on this machine.

    2. The progressive bonuses on the machine that had been there for awhile were extremely high. The 383 I won is the highest progressive I have ever seen on this machine, and Buffalo and Pelican Pete were also over three hundred. I have never seen that on one machine. The only conclusion I can draw is that the odds for hitting those are worse than the other wheel machine.

    3. If I remember correctly, I had 8 single screen bonuses on Timberwolf Deluxe, and 1 four screen. The 8 single screen bonuses were terrible. Even at .50 cents per screen, instead of the dollar I usually play, bonuses were extremely low, only one over 10 bucks. Rarely got the moon multiplier, probably averaged 2 per bonus, playing the 16 bonus spins at 2x and 5x. The four screen bonus was very fun, and the payoff was okay, not great. One thing I really did not like, I got the three owls during one of the bonuses, and instead of getting to choose which bonus you want for the second round, you automatically get 16 more spins. I hated that. Having said that, I will still play this. Timberwolf Deluxe is my favorite game, and the chance to get four screens in the bonus is irresistable.

Pelican Pete got 300 bucks of my money and I got one bonus. I won 10 bucks on the bonus. I never cashed a ticket playing this. The dream of getting all four screens in Pelican Pete and then getting the 5 additional spins while in the bonus is still there, but it is going to get 1 20 per session, and I will hope to get lucky. And the pay table really sucks.

Buffalo Gold: I usually don't do well on this stand alone machine. Rarely get bonuses, and in the bonuses rarely get 2 coins to increase the number of free spins, which is the key to cashing in. I got one of my best bonuses ever on this on this machine, 13 gold buffaloes with 10 spins left, never got another one, ended up cashing a ticket for 180.00. It was all downhill after that. I will keep playing this, someday I am going to get 15 gold buffaloes with a bunch of spins left and clean out the casino. I am also going to win the lottery, probably have a better chance of winning the lottery.

In my view, this is a dumb play, and I will lose most of the time, but I play for entertainment, not profit, and the entertainment value is off the charts, so it will get my money.

Oh yeah, the last machine I played on this trip was the stand alone single screen version of Timberwolf Deluxe. First 20 in, got great bonuses and line hits, cashed a ticket for 360 bucks, cashed the ticket and headed for bed.

Sometimes you can't beat the original.

I did over $15k coin in on the W4WW machines at Cosmo this weekend. I think I'm giving up on it. I had several super free games and they were all complete duds. I had line hits that were bigger. The only nice thing is that I got a lot of play out of them.
