Been there, too! I'm a low roller but known to get up several hundred, say this is fun, and before I know, yep, it is back in the machines!

We have taken to getting a portion of the winnings in a check. Last weekend we took took the grandkids to the local casino/water park. Thanks to my honey, we walked out with a $1000 check, along with extra cash. At the very least, she knew she had a grand to put back in the bank.

Been there done that too. I like winning the big one right before I leave that way I have a better chance of leaving with the money. When I hit something as soon as I get there it is more tempting to put more of it in if the machines go cold. Don't beat yourself up over it.

I just bought one last week and I love it; it has saved my butt on three occasions. The desire is always there to do more, play just a little bit longer and see if you can get just a little more. This bank has me feeling pretty liberated and I'm very proud of myself.

Yesterday put in a TITO of $491. AT one point I was up to $1100. I should have walked out. Of course. I left with $250. So I lost half of what I brought but I could have been up $600.

One thing I've tried to start doing is to think of that money in real terms. $600 equals several car payments. Or a new dishwasher. It's like monopoly money when you're in the zone gambling. I'm going to try to visualize the value of that money more often to stop myself from hitting the button like a zombie.

This is so true, it's like you don't even think about how much money you're losing or how fast you're losing it!

I've said it several times before, but $300/month is a lease payment on a nice, new car.

I won 1,600$ before and left with 0. 2 back to back wins for 800$ on wonder 4 on buffalo, so didn't have a hand pay. Not a good feeling at all.
