    3CP

Has anyone done well on Three Card Poker? This game cleans me so quick I wonder if I will ever leave the table ahead. An example of my luck is I walk up to a $10 table to play head to head and turn $200 into chips. The first hand I get dealt a pair of Aces but the dealer turns over three 9's! Fifteen minutes later my $200 is gone. Now if I had gotten those three nines, I could have walked away a winner before I dug into my BR. (three of a kind pays 30 to one on the Pair Plus)
I bet you I can stop gambling!

I find 3CP to be very streaky. Either I win right away and if I'm disciplined enough to walk away make a profit or I lose quickly. I prefer LIR or Crazy 4 Poker. I only play 3CP if those two games are not available. I did have one memorable hit at 3CP. I was down to my last $35 in chips - had lost almost $300. I put $30 on the pairs plus and played $5 for the dealer. Played it blind. Dealer flipped the cards and I had a straight flush! I colored up and left with a nice profit that day.

Historically, I haven't done well on 3CP. I've gotten a straight flush once and I think three 3 of a kinds, but that's it. I like to play without playing the pairs plus bonus. You don't win big, but it reduces the volatility. I'm not a fan of winning the base game with the dealer not qualifying, but not winning overall because I didn't get a pair.

Yes, as has been said, this game is VERY streaky. I've done decently. A couple of years ago it was my most profitable game in the casino. Now, I walk over with $60, enough for four hands, and see how long it can last. If I win a few or get on a roll, I'll play til a small profit or down to that sixty and get OUT of there. It's a fun game, but it can take you with no real chance of winning. I've turned my 3CP indulgence over to UTH where it's a little more interactive and I can squeeze out slightly longer play.

Uncle Coaster has the right mindset. No pairplus is the way to go, and it's an easy way to play for length, but I always say that 3CP is my card slots. You can get play and get nothing, but you can catch that right combination and hit big.

I will only play the 3 Card Poker games that have the "Let it Ride" game included. That's the only way that I can ever win.

Back in my college days, this game helped me paid for my textbooks! (Jk) my friends and I would go to the NA about an hour away...I would hit on average 1 straight flush and 1 3oak each trip. I would always leave winning.

Fast forward to now, I haven't hit a 3oak or straight flush to save my life.

Same thing happened to me. There was a stretch where I would get 1 straight flush every week. I even had two in a row, but there was a card change it between.

But then it dried up, and I started looking into the house edge of 3CP. I decided to move towards UTH and craps.
