    New Rokureel game: Pretty Devil

After seeing this slot for the first time today, I went online to look for more information on it, and found that this game is so new that the trademark application process hasn't been completed yet. It's quite possible that the game is currently in a field trial in Nevada and won't be seen outside of Las Vegas for some time.

Here's the meaningful stuff I was able to find online about the game.

    - Demo video from Konami (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZhhQfgeeug)

    - Game specs

Additional observations based on the online info and from limited experience playing the game:

There's a very wide range of possible paybacks/holds; effective return to player can range from 82-96%. In all likelihood if you see this game at your local casino, it's probably not going to be set much tighter or looser than what's already out on the floor.

The free respin bonus triggers approximately once every 90 spins, but the effective rate of getting a decent bonus result is going to be much lower. You need to trigger on reel 2 or else you will have a hard time getting a good payoff; I would expect that there will be a lot of bonuses that end up paying nothing. If you can trigger the bonus using reels 2 and 6, then you are guaranteed a minimum payoff of 50x (if the respin results in every line ending up as a 6-of-a-kind of low-value symbols).

The premium symbols are, in order: heart, golden moneybag, golden goblet, and some blue plant/fruit. If you can get the 2-6 bonus, then getting a single heart or golden moneybag on reel 1 during the respin will guarantee a higher payoff than a full stack of any symbol other than themselves or the golden goblet. For comparison, assume 40 lines played at 1 credit per line: a full stack of the blue plant/fruit results in a full screen thereof (40 6-of-a-kinds), paying 40 150 = 6000 credits. If instead just one golden moneybag showed up on reel 1 in that respin, that symbol alone would pay (13 or 14 6-of-a-kinds) 600 = 7800 or 8400 credits before any wins from the other two symbols are even considered. And for just one heart on reel 1 in the same respin situation: (13 or 14) 1500 = 19500 or 21000 credits before any other wins are even considered.

Volatility: the medium-high rating that Konami provides on its website sounds about right. On 40-credit bets, I saw a good chunk of spins return exactly 3 credits. Don't let that 46% hit frequency fool you.

The video is disabled from this site, may need to go to You Tube to see it. Either way seems the Lady from WW may be moonlighting, and took some goblets and moneybags with her.

I saw it at Red Rock in Vegas and its at Morongo in SoCal. Sparkling Riches, another RokuReel machine is also at Morongo, but that more an Electrifying Riches type game.

Bad timing or high volatility I don't know, but I burned right through a $100 bill without a bonus or win over $3. These are at Spirit Mountain in Oregon.

Sidenote : The animation is pretty life like , They bounce very naturally....

Well I am going to have to bad mouth more games. Time to eat a crow feast.

I tried these 2 machines again last night. $100 first machine, @$3.20 max bet, nothing..Next machine, 1 spin @ maxbet, $2000 handpay.. This is definately Konami trying to compete with WW2 imho. Now that I have seen how the feature works with the re-spinning devil ladies. I got 2 reels with full ladies, then it respins, I get another row in second column. That made the whole screen wild except row 1. Then it re-spins again, first row all gold money bags. Quite a sight to see, all that natural bouncy beauty.
