So I'm at the crap game. Shooter on the other side rolls the dice. One die lands on table other bounces up a nd hits me. Box man says "No roll". The die lands on the table for a result of 7 . Box man yells "Seven out" and the dealers collect the wagers. I didn't flinch when die hit me so if box hadn't said anything it would have been a 7 out. The fact he did shoulda negated the outcome. IMO.
Later I asked pit boss about this. He said since I didn't flinch the box correctly called 7 out since they were live dice. I have never been at a table where after no roll was said that the roll was made good. I have never seen it where if anot her number dropped the crew would have paid. They would just said no roll if players were on that number.
To me BS.

Unfortunately I think they were right. Dealer called "no roll" early, but just doing that doesn't negate the roll. If any other number landed including the point they would have paid.

I disagree. They called "no roll" . To me that is a decision. Shooter should have been given the dice back for another roll.

I think the box should have stood by his call but, in my experience, if it hits anyone and bounces back on to the table the roll counts. I've never heard anything about whether someone "flinched" or not...

That's BS. One of the dice was off the table. No roll. Period.

I agree with Moto and Deb. If no roll was called, it should be no roll and the shooter gets to roll again.

Yeah you can't call no roll and write it off so quick 'cause they fell on the table as a 7. Roll again. Odds are we'll lose anyway, haha.
