new bonuses available on existing games?

I just happened to notice this at a few different casinos. Walking by these slot machines I noticed out of the corner of my eye it said "now with new bonuses". Particularly on slot machines "Back to the Future" and "True Blood".

In a way, they're copying WMS what they did with LOTR: Two Towers.

Is this a good idea or not? Some people may not notice the new bonuses, I didn't at first.
But now that I know this I may give these games a try. I have played Back to the Future but not True Blood, hopefully it might be a good idea. But it's probably not a good idea if people tried them at first and vowed not to play those slots again.

Well casinos replace games if players lose interest. Perhaps just a different twist on this. I'm skeptical and suspicious, so not really convinced there is anything practical about either and the casino is just serving a new flavor of dung. My brain washing has been wearing off and I question how I began to accept and keep accepting these penny machines. 99% garbage With no chance anyways, so I won't play back to the future no matter what they do. I was all about Star Wars until maybe 2008-2009, so it's not me, it's them.
    That's all folks!

A new flavor, yes, I know how you feel.
On a slightly different note, how about IGT's Powerbucks, and this email I received from Borgata? They let you know that they know what you're playing, and try to entice you to play them by offering a possible FP bonus if you try.
