I'm actually a winner....I just keep giving it all back!!!

:(Somehow I have to understand why I am doing what I am doing. 8 out of my last 10 trips I have been ahead anywhere from $300 to $800 but I only brought home money 2 times. I brought home $300, only after being up $500 and playing that down to less than $100 then got a lucky hit. The second time I brought home $800 because my mom was ready to leave or I'm sure I would have/could have played it all back! I desperately need some tips for leaving while I'm ahead. I'm usually staying 5 or 6 hours and most of the time I have won within the first 2 hours which means I didn't want to leave. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!! I've tried putting it in a seperate area of my purse but I end up digging it out. I've tried leaving it in a tito...keeping it in large bills....small bills....everything - back in the machine it goes! AND....it is the same darn machine that I sit and feed!!!!!

Feel your pain. I do the same thing. The only way I come home a winner is when I give some of my winnings to DH to hold for me and he will not give it back to me until we get back home.

I do the same. It about self control. The longer you play the more you loose. I've learned that if I lose right away. LEAVE. If I win I put my bankroll away and play with the "winnings". Its about being self diciplined and not touch what you put away.

    Hi Maylene,

The WinnersBank 2000 has been a huge help for me in minimizing my losses and bringing some of my winnings home. I have the same problem as you, and trust me, it's been a lifesaver.

I'm raising my hand - I have this same problem. I totally lose all self control when I'm in the casino. And then I hate myself for doing it. I gotta check out this WinnersBank thing - I've heard about it several times on the board and I think it could help. I'm just afraid I'll be in the bathroom stall slamming it on the floor and stomping it so I can get my money back! That would be a bit embarrassing

Stick your winnings in your shoes and under garments. It works!

Martigig - I have the same problem as you. There are reasons I do this but can't speculate why you do it. I think I do it because deep down I go to the casino to play...not really to win if that makes any sense. If I went there to win I would leave when I'm ahead and that would happen often. Now the only time I leave ahead is if I get lucky right before I have to leave.
