    *Sad Trombone* - Officedr0ne Losses

Only fair I create a losses thread as well.

Today I went completely off the rails. Was on a high from yesterdays big score so decided I would high roll it some more today on the $1 machines. Turns out that was a bad idea.

No matter what I hit it ate my money. Wasn't ever up from my initial buy in on any machine. Then I went from tilt....to super tilt.

Super tilt happens to me from time to time. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. In this case it didn't.

Before I knew it I was down my entire bankroll ($1600) and I proceeded to do the walk of shame.

I lost heavy because I didn't stick to the plan....plain and simple.

Thankfully I have the foresight to stick 1/2 of all my winnings in the bank (and don't allow myself to touch it for bankroll) and keep half for my roll. So I'm still net positive for the month, but back to low rolling and smaller progressive sniping for now.

    Ouch...totally feel for ya...
Rebuild the BR again and go back with what you are familiar and comfortable with and that is low rolling. And stick with your plan...

That's a tough loss but thanks for being honest.

I am confident that you will win on your next outing.

Yup. Trading has made me somewhat numb to losses, so while I was mad at the time (at myself), I realize it's a cost of doing business. It turns out it's a little tricky predicting the future. haha.

Do I have the capability to make it back? With some advantage play I've discovered and add on a little luck (preparation waiting for opportunity), sure I do. I just have to remind myself to stick to the plan.

After last night's big win I set out today to do some "investment" aka "try machines I've never played to get a feel for bonus rounds/volatility". Played a bunch. Should have kept better track of all their names, but none of them were that memorable. A bunch of old Aristocrat and IGT machines and a WMS that had some huge minor/major progressives.

Net loss of $100. Was up $250 at one point. Honestly don't mind....R&D costs.

Hopefully you get some back in freeplay/offers. If I have a little luck and blow it too often, I'll just hold out at that casino a few months waiting to see if the mail will go up. In the mean time, I'll go somewhere else.
    That's all folks!

Only 1 local here. Closest other casinos are 1.5 hours away. They're pretty stingy on the offers so far and only give 0.5% cashback on wager. I really wish I lived near some decent casinos with good comps as I've been putting through about $15K coin-in a week.
